nice scouting report in the ironton fishwrap..

here alder beef in the trenches... how does ironton match up.

does ironton platoon alot of players or does some go both ways.

Alex Disbennett (6-2, 250) is the center, Max Pollom (6-6, 325) and Corey Boyer (6-2, 295) are the guards, while Trey Rudolph (6-3, 210) and Brandon Purdum (6-3, 250) are the tackles.

no balls...you is still a funny guy. lol Concession stands and football games go hand in hand. How about, duh. revenue for the school? It's a long trip and maybe many of the fans and parents would like something good to eat when they arrive. Besides, if the food is good maybe it will cure my breath problem.

ps...seriously, let me know where you are sitting so I can come breath on you. Gooooooo Alder!

I think you mean breathe on me right. the concession stand food is not bad. Good hotdogs with sauce and cheese. Good pizza and other items also. Do your wife a favor and dont take her to Wendys. Unless you really want to piss her off.

Should be a old fashion slobber knocker game with Ironton grinding the ball out and wearing down Alder.
As for speed Ashland and Gallia had speed and Ironton showed they could match it so don't go thinking this is a slow Ironton team for sure.

Hotdogs with cheese does sound good to me and the wife does like pizza. Mystery burger? If it's not road kill I might give it a try at half time. My neighbors in Plain City are all know what I do with road kill.

Speaking of half time...who wants to get together then to re-hash the first 2 quarters?

I would like to get together, maybe if you have a cooler full of beverages. Nothing like good football with some good beverages before and during the half time to make the game to go bu better.

Gotta agree...Ashland came in bragging that Ironton couldn't stay with their speed...They didn't have a chance to show anything...they were picking themselves up off the ground too much..

After we got all of our starters back in from being injured the first few weeks...Ironton has looked like a different animal..Ashland was picked to win the state championship in Kentucky prior to us putting the smackdown on them..Gallipolis also had some smack talk prior to the game..but knew once the game begun...this wasn't a team to underestimate...

I feel that Alder brings in a good team..probably the best we will see until the playoffs begin..however I feel as long as we don't turn over the ball..We should be able to come out of this one a few touchdowns ahead...so far I have been right on with my predictions..looking at what Alder has done and who they have played and how they have done..this is my gut...The burg game has a lot of poeple for some reason overlooking us as being a power...This..and I have waited to say it...is one of the best teams I have seen since the 90s..and possibly the best in the last 20 years...if they keep getting better each week as they have been..I believe they can go all the way..looking at what the state has in div 4 this year..I don't see anyone who outmatches them..but as Lutz will always tell them...take it one game at a time..and this week is Alder...Go Tigers...
