Week 3: Adena (2-0) @ Washington Courthouse (1-1)

Post by bigboss »

Looks to be a really tough game. Adena coming off a strong 35-12 East Clinton Victory, a team they haven't beat since 1993. Still pounding the ball down teams throats with a very talented trio of running backs and a hard nosed offensive line. Washington Courthouse comes off a 32-19 victory over Circleville as well. Washington Courthouse has gotten the better of Adena the past few seasons, but what's your prediction for this weeks game?

If Adena can defend the pass i like their chances . Who are some of their playmakers ? Running team or passing team ?

Adena and Courthouse are both "Power" football teams, not alot of passing involved. Adena has Reid Hutchison who's racked up almost 400 yards and 7 touchdowns entering week 3. They have a steady fullback rotation with Ryan Wells and Jarrod Cyrus, who's also put up nice numbers. Courthouse is centered around their backs as well, Shaw and Petiford. Both teams run the ball 90% of the time, so it should turn out to be a smash mouth game from the beginning.

Sounds like two teams with the same concept . I know East Clinton racked up some yards through the air . I hope Adena can pull it out .

Great win for Adena. It wasn't looking so great early, but we stuck with the plan and wore down WCH.

That was a big win . Hutchinson is not only a very fast back but a very tough back , Number 35 for WCH blew up some plays and laid it on Hutch but he just kept coming back and hit the holes a little harder the next time . he has to be one of the best backs in all of southern Ohio . 35 carries 301 yds 2 tds against a good defense and a very good program like WCH . I would like to know his stats through 3 games .
