Minford vs. Waverly part II
First match of these two earlier in the season was epic. Will this one be just as good?
It's Waverly's last home game (Senior Night), SOC II Championship game possibly. With 'Burg playing South Webster same night. It's definitely a must win for both.

Waverly has really struggled down the stretch... i think the falcons have no problem in this one... and the nasty field should play right into Minfords game...

Minford 7
Waverly 3

Waverly might have been struggling but Martin should be back!

2-1 in favor of Waverly, even with the recent struggle to finish. To finish is more than just a player problem but the way or method of play by all players. The way a team plays generates the quality of finishing. During shots on goal, it is much easier to have a successful finish if there is a one-on-one finish with goalie verses having 2 or 3 defenders on the finisher. Waverly needs to not play the ball up the middle everytime. They need to utilize their wings more to cross balls in and play the long ball some. There is a lot of speed on this team. If they play as a team, they can win the SOC. I also heard two of their injured starters will be returning. In saying that, Minford can be very aggressive and also possess speed. They do like to use the long ball as well. There back line defense is very tough. But, so is Waverly's. This will be a very exciting game to watch!

Quick counter, shot by minford. Waverly a shot from the eighteen. I can't wait!!!! Quite possibly the biggest match of the year. I think Waverly gets the upset in this one 4 - 3.

I think this is going to be a close game Minford and Waverly both have good teams but the final score 3-2 Falcons.

Going to be a good game. I think Waverly will have more possession in the game and more chances to score, but that may not decide the game. Quality chances are what matters. Minford's defense was staying back earlier in the year and that made it harder to get clear shots down the middle. Waverly's defense is pretty solid, but they have to watch the counter attacks. Minford does that well.

Probably a 3-2 game, but I won't guess which way.

this game should be a SHOWDOWN. 2 run and gun offenses battling for the SOC. I cant pick a winner but im guessing some goals will be scored. i call 5-4 either way. coaching will be the deciding factor of this game.

agreed 817. Waverly will have the upper hand playing a home. The Tiger Den is always a tough place to play. Waverly 4-2.

Minford only has one team but they play big one game and not so much the next (so I am told). Being that this is a big SOC deciding game, I would expect their A game tonight.
