Waverly put the pieces together and played their best complete game of the year. Minford wasn't able to put any pressure on Waverly's defense all night. Kennedy Roseberry had 3 goals. Chris Wiget 2 assists and Drew Saunders the other assist.

Great way to send out the seniors!

A win on Thursday at Northwest brings the SOC championship back to Waverly.

Correct, even a tie at Northwest gives Waverly 20 points. A Minford win in their final game gives them a total of 20 points. Burg cannot finish with more than 20 points with two wins.

Waverly's best game of the year. The seniors especially stepped up. Saunders, Nalian, Leatherwood, Davis,Halterman and Remy would not let it go. One more win and the prize is all ours. The offense clicked and the defense was terrific. Minford really never had a good look all night.

Waverly's entire team stepped it up. The offense, especially Roseberry and Wiget, played well together on passing and shooting, Collins fought hard in the midfield and the defense played smart. They will have a good shot in tournaments if they stick together as a team.
