While VC is getting better, Jackson is allready good. Jackson by a fair margin.

1997 was ridiculous....how could anyone believe they were going to kick that FG.

Have to go with Jackson in this one, but could be closer than most think.

Jackson by at least 35!!! Sorry vc, jackson is solid this year the only team i see giving them any trouble is ironton.
Re: Week 3: Jackson (2-0) @ Vinton County (1-1)
Vinton County will have a lot of confidence after their big win against Piketon. They haven't beaten Jackson in quite a while, so I'm sure they'll be highly motivated as well. On the other hand, Jackson has rolled through the first two weeks, winning by 35 and 49 points. Jackson needs to stay focused, avoid being overconfident, and continue to improve.
The Ironmen have been outstanding on the defensive side of the ball, and I look for that to continue. Offensively, the boys up front are still working hard to become the unit that they have the potential to be, and this is their last test before SEOAL play begins. Jackson will probably look to establish the run game, allowing the offensive line to continue to find its identity. However, I think Coach Hall will also be looking to get the passing game going as well after last week's lack of production through the air. Should be interesting to see what type of strides the offense, as a whole, has made during the next week of practice.

Jackson wins big, but vinton county is improving.. good luck to both teams
Re: Week 3: Jackson (2-0) @ Vinton County (1-1)
If vc changes a couple players around I think they would have more balance in the run game and give Jackson a good game, onthe defense side vc need to keep their linebackers at home less blitzing.good luck to both teams.

Re: Week 3: Jackson (2-0) @ Vinton County (1-1)
changing a couple players around will not help vc in this game.jackson defense is solid, they have held wellston and waverly under 100 yards.waverly had negitive yards til late in 3rd then they got some yards on their 2nd team defense.not saying vc wont score in this game, but their is no way vc will compete with jackson.look for another shutout from jackson defense.bossman wrote:If vc changes a couple players around I think they would have more balance in the run game and give Jackson a good game, onthe defense side vc need to keep their linebackers at home less blitzing.good luck to both teams.
