Could you post a link to that site? I'd like to see what the Barnesville fan is saying exactly.

Don't know how he would know. Maybe he is just assuming. Either way, I do believe that the Buckeye 8 is mandating that the conference games be played between weeks 4 through 10. Union Local is in the B-8, Barnesville is not. So their UL game has to be moved to either week 2 or 3 because B-ville has been playing John Glenn in week 1 since the 60's I think. I doubt that will be moved. I just can't believe Caldwell would move Shenandoah from week 10.

Also, what does the signs "Save our Shenandoah" mean? Is it just a slogan being used to pass a levy, or is it deeper than that? Just asking.

Glad I didn't drive all the way to the fairgrounds for this game, as it wasn't even close.

Redskins 34

Cadets 7

Sounds like FF moved the ball all night, but kept handing it back to the Redskins. You will not win with five turnovers, including one pick six. Too bad, I thought that this would be a good game.

Caldwell pretty much controlled the entire game. Fort Frye had some success moving the ball, but once they got close to the endzone, the Redskins defense stood tall and forced turnovers. A bend but don't break style of defense. Secondary really stepped up for the Redskins, picking off FF's QB 4 times, one returned for a touchdown late in the game. Sayre and Rossiter had big games for the Skins. Sayre with around 90 yards both rushing and throwing, with one TD pass. Rossiter had 3 total TD's during the game, 2 rushing and the interception returned for a TD. Overall a pretty solid showing for the Redskins.

Hi,

The Cadets are on the road to Caldwell to face off with the Redskins in a contest with playoff implications for both teams. Fort Frye (6-1) is coming off a 37-7 win over Buckeye Trial and the Redskins are trying to catch their breath after an epic 47-40 victory over the Frontier Cougars.

Caldwell (6-1) usually relies on the running of Byran Snodgrass and Adam Rossiter to control the clock but last week Coach Mike DeVol saw a weakness in the Frontier secondary and unleashed quarterback Dylan Sayre to the tune of 27 for 44 passing for a whopping 350 yards and five touchdown passes.

Split end Cody Morris was the main beneficiary as he snagged 11 balls for 94 yards and four touchdowns.

Thanks a lot.
