Its actually "St. Clair"..........but hey, who cares right?

St. Clair gets a little rough in the fall, since you are not a good swimmer and all......not a great idea.

Guys, come one, take this crap to PM's so the rest of us don't have to read it. Please!!!!!

This is about the Minford/West game, not which one of you has the biggest Johnson on the boat.

i love how people come here and complain about other people at least talking about SOMETHING..... and contributing absolutely NOTHING about the subject themselves.

why don't you and eddie take your crap to PMs so we can talk about fishing. at least we're talking about something and not just leaving dead airspace on here.

(gotta get my post count up)

btw... at least WE picked our HOME TEAM to win last week.

I have a 225 Evinrude, he has a row boat. But who cares, right!

Back to football. I predict the winning team Friday night will score the most points.

Both teams have alot to prove come friday night. West has to prove to everyone that they aren't the same team they were last year and that this year they have other weapons beside pendleton.

Minford has to prove that they're the team they were the first 5 games and that this loss to wheelersburg has them ready to go and bounce back.

Everyone knows the main key for Minford is to stop Trevon which it should be the kids one hell of a player and will make you pay for your mistakes but they cant focus everything on him or Locher Auger and Ratliff(sp?) will run wild. West on the other hand will have to contain butcher and piguet both who can turn the corner and go for 6 on any given play. but if they begin to contain the outsides then the middle is where slone lives.

Obviously after last week Minford is the underdog which back in high school I loved being the underdog coming into a game. Made me feel like I had to step my game up that much more which I hope the falcons do the same.

Can't wait for this game to be on it's way friday!

I would say Minford has gotten alot of practice at this underdog role throughout the years. :122245

Burg_Grad_77 wrote:I've stayed away from this thread because it is just like the Burg/Minford thread with a bunch of wild predictions and a lot of chest pounding. I picked the Falcons to beat the Pirates and I ate my crow and it didn't tatse as bad since the Burg did win. I honestly didn't think the Pirates had it in them after watching 3 of the 5 games they had played since they were inconsistent, but they were a completely different team last Friday. I have been told by both Burg fans and Minford fans that after the Falcons got down 17-0 early in the game you could just tell by their actions coming off the field that they were done and they never recovered until late with the Pirate subs in. If they do the same against the Siders it will be another long night for Minford.

West has been hitting on all cylinders for the past few weeks regardless of who they have played. While they may not have been the toughest of foes, they are beating them by resounding scores just like they should when you play a lesser opponent. The Falcons will be the first big test for the Siders and I don't think the Falcons have the horses to stay with West for 4 quarters. It may be close for a half, but I think West will eventually wear them down and win by at least 2 TD's, maybe 3.

Good luck to both and hopefully it's an injury free game
.

If you weren't so worried about your butt buddy BR and were actually reading the thread instead of just spewing the same old crap over and over again like both of you did on the Burg/Minford thread maybe you would have noticed that I did contribute to the thread. Just what the Hell have you contirbuted other than asking your BB to go fishing with you? You know there is a Forum to talk about that kind of stuff so why not take it there.

wow... reading all of this garbage about fishing trips and who is taking who out on dates has really killed this topic. I guess everyone has said what they have to say about it and have nothing else to talk about. Can't wait to see who talks the loudest on the field friday night.

Yeah you're right forsure. But it's good for the players though; let's them know they have something to prove each friday night and alot of people to shush up.
