Should be a pretty big crowd for this one - the Hill always brings a good bunch.

This is a no brainer Hornets by as much as they want. I know its a rivarly game and usually records dont mean anything, but in this case that dont even matter. The Hill doenst have the talent nor team to compete with the Hornets this year.

This one has all the makings of a trap game. Coal Grove has to come out focused, and ready to play. At this point Rock Hill has nothing to play for and nothing to lose, they would love nothing more than to end any playoff hopes that the Grove has. Boys need to stay focused all week and come out and do what they do best.

I'd agree with you if this were any other team in the OVC, but with it being Rock Hill, I've gotta believe the Hornets will come in ready. That'd almost be like saying an Ohio State-Michigan might be a trap game for OSU. 8)2trap_4ever wrote:This one has all the makings of a trap game.

hard to believe 5 people actually voted for the hill...

Well I haven't gotten the chance to see South Point play this year other than previews so I don't really know if they're better or worse than Rock Hill. Both teams gave CG respectable games last year. One thing I do know for certain is that CGs line play is much better than Rock Hill's and that will give CG a big advantage as it has the last 4 years. I'm going with CG by 3-4 TDs...

If RockHill can put together a whole game of play like their 2nd quarter against Chesapeake they could beat dang near anybody. They just need to keep the turnoves and silly mistakes to a minimum and this could be a really good game. I am sure they are going to be fired up come friday. Good luck too both teams!!!

^^^ That's an absolutely unwarranted and stupid post. Rock Hill will win this year. If they hadn't pretty much spotted Chesapeake a three TD lead in the first Quarter, they'd have one already. Rock Hill won't make that many mistakes against CG.

I think Coach Knipp is a good coach but not enough bullets in the gun in this contest. Coal Grove 35-14

I think it must make him feel important. Even his fellow Ironton fans do not care much for him. He has nothing better to do. Kinda sad.

Buckballs my post was not aimed at you or Ironton in general, In fact I try my best not to say anything derogatory towards any team. It was simply a smack back at tl895 for him coming over here and dumping on another RH thread. I feel Ironton has yet another great team, However it does get old listening to some people on here brag as if they could beat any D1 college team. And yes Rock Hill has found themselves in the middle of another dismal season but that does not mean these boys do not get out and play their butts off. They certainly do not to deserve the negative comments that certain people come on here and spew each week. I will continue to encourage and support them win or lose. After all it is still a game and should be enjoyed by the players and the fans.
