Got to catch up with some friends from Eastern, and make some new friends from Trimble. What a great night for football. Trimble came ready to play, and dominated every facet of this game. Eastern had 3 first downs when I left with less than 10 minutes in the 4th quarter. Trimble looked sharp, Eastern had no answers offensively, or defensively. Didn't help the Iggles when their starting TB/CB got hurt in the second quarter, and eventually left the game early in the third quarter.

I made the comment to the gentlemen that I was watching the game with, and it is true. That officiating crew is going to have to take their flags and wash them, as those flags were on the ground so many times they are now soiled. They were a flag happy crew, that's for sure.

Now, it was homecoming at Eastern, and I must say, those were some of the best homecoming floats that I have every seen, in 40+ years of going to high school football games. Those kids from Eastern had to have worked their butts off on those floats, they were really impressive. Oh, and that GTO at halftime, I couldn't tell if it was a 65 or a 66 model, but boy was it SWEET!!!!!!!

Gents that I watched the game with, if you are on here, you have probably figured out who I am. I'd be happy to take in another game with you anytime, it was a pleasure!
