Got pulled I guess people were not behaving. Should be a good game. Keep in mind a 5:30 kick since there are not lights.

Wet field, wet ball. Equalizes things a bit. Takes away speed and shots can slip thru goalies hands. Might be a good time to tell your goalie to drop in front of ball and or punch it away instead of trying to catch it. Still got to go with Webster but it will be close.

shocking to me that all year people have continued to act like webster is unstoppable... wet field will make it a long day for the jeeps... but in the end they will find a way to win.

Just an observation from scores that i have kept up to date South Webster has only given up 2 goals all year how do you expect them to give up 5 goals in ine game?

Re: Wheelersburg vs Webster
well really my estimate isnt that hard to comprehend... its basic math... here we go, webster beat waverly 3-0 and they only play them once where burg plays waverly twice... burg tied waverly 4-4 and 1-1... so if you double the webster-waverly score considering they only played once then that would make it 6-0... if you add the burg score vs. waverly you get 5-5... but considering waverly didnt score against webster and the conditions will be wet ill take away the webster shutout tonight and make the score 6 for the jeeps and 5 for the pirates... thats just a simple equation that i came up with... i think its pretty accurate, has worked for me in the past... or at least in the eastern pike-new boston game this year... good luck to both teams!!! ill be in attendance to watch battle it out!

Re: Wheelersburg vs Webster
Swank shows bias..obviously..but he, also, has a connection with South Webster..once again, obviously...not defending him but has he called an outcome wrong yet? He goes with Webster every game and so far he has been right, every game. Call it bias, call it picking the right team, it doesn't matter because so far he is 12 for 12 on games called this season.
On another note, that is some pathetic math. A little logic definitely disproves that. Going by your reasoning, Moose, Webster was 3 goals better than Waverly, multiply that by 2 you get 6. Waverly and Burg tied 2 times, meaning neither team was better than other, so if what you're saying makes sense shouldn't the score be 6-0 South Webster? Or how about since burg let up 5 goals against Waverly this season shouldn't the score then be 11-5? No way Webster gives up more than 2, I would even be extremely surprised to see Burg score that many. I'm sticking with my prediction on the previous thread and have to say 5-1 South Webster.

Re: Wheelersburg vs Webster
To say someone is right every time makes me think you don't look at this much. Like if I was to pick the jeeps say 8-0. Would I be right if they won3-0?
My guess is Lewis scores some more goals at Webster tonight. Burg 4-3!!!

yeah I'm bias but I also pick with knowlege. the jeeps are the most dominet team in the area hands down. why wouldnt the jeeps win? this game was on their home feild, they have 8 seniors starting I believe, they had outscored opponents 70-2 coming into it. Webster was faster and more physical but so was Burg. sw came out with fire in the second half and burg looked frustrated and couldn't get close enough to get a shot.

There's a difference from being biased and backing your team and being arrogant. Some people don't know the difference.

Children, chilrdren. Calm down please. First Moose, your logic is way faulty, you cant just multiply the score by 2 since we played Waverly once. If Burg would have played Waverly just once, you'd have to multiply 4 by 2, (or in the other game 1 by 2).Swanker Pine wrote:yeah I'm bias but I also pick with knowlege. the jeeps are the most dominet team in the area hands down. why wouldnt the jeeps win? this game was on their home feild, they have 8 seniors starting I believe, they had outscored opponents 70-2 coming into it. Swanker....just thought I'd point out some grammar, saying "Webster was faster and more physical, but so was burg." Impossible for both teams to be faster and more physical than the other. I just know how you like to correct people. :122245
And just for the sake of the topic...........GO JEEPS!!!!!!!!!!
