That was quite a statement tonight by South Webster.

Would love to see a South Webster v. Marietta match. Both teams unbeaten this season...

South Webster showed their strength tonight. Only leading 2-1 at halftime after controlling the ball most of the first 40 was frustrating, but the Jeeps more than made up for that in the 2nd Half.

This was the best game I have seen them play this year. The Pirates definitely had their full attention. The disparity in shots and possession must have been huge.

Keep up the good work men! 3 regular season games left---win them all and you can have the first 16-0 season in school history!

Wow! I expected the Jeeps to win. I didn't, however, expect 7-1.

I would guess those two goals within 39 seconds of each other were the dagger.

rocky..... burg had a player go out around that time also with a straight red card. They played down a man most of the 2nd half. Can't contend with many teams playing down a man, especially a team like south webster.

Rocky---your guess is correct in my opinion. Wheelersburg seemed frustrated and defeated after the fourth goal.
The red card came shortly after the fourth goal.

The dead red card explains a lot to us that weren't at the game. A man down against SW would be very tough. They move the ball around well enough against a full squad.

Wow. 7-1. A man down would explain a little, but 7-1?

sounds like a great game even with the lopsided final score, dunno what the red card was all about but seems to of had to been bad!!... congrats to the jeeps and pirates keep your heads up... so i was a little off on the final score when it comes to goals scored by the burg... i guess mathematical equations dont really make much sense in a rivalry game... i hope to watch these teams play down the road in the tourney on a nuetral site, then the goals will REALLY start to FLY! LOLZ !!!

Am I correct, from reading this thread, that the score was SW 4 and Burg 1 when the red card was given?

red card inexcusible. it was not even for borderl line hard play it was for comments made. i guess if you can't do it just curse your way into it. i guess blasted both the opposing player and official. team should get all over him at practice today. leaving your team a man down is rediculous.
