Congrats to the SOC I Champion South Webster Jeeps and SOC II Champion Waverly Tigers.
It was a great season in the SOC with a lot of drama during the final weeks. Good luck to all the teams during the tournament! A special thanks to all the seniors on their respective teams who have done everything they can to improve the level of soccer in Southern Ohio.

Congratulations to both teams! It was an exciting year for soccer as the SOC 2 came down to the last game! I can only imagine how tight that finish at Northwest was for the Tigers---knowing if they tied they would probably have to share the title. Northwest really seemed to improve over the course of the year.
Waverly deserved the SOC 2 title with a 2-0-2 record vs Minford and Burg. All of those games played between the three teams were exciting.
South Webster just finished a noteworthy accomplishment by going 13-0 in the league for the second straight year. Last year they had to defeat the Falcons and Pirates twice to continue along the tournament trail and might have to do so again this year. Minford truly gave the Jeeps the tightest game of the year as the Jeeps scored with approximately 1 minute left to win 2-1. The eight seniors for South Webster have made the best of their time together. All of them seem to play together and work so well towards the common goal of winning every night.
Let's ALL have great tournament runs and if we have to go out----let's hope it was because another SOC team had a better night that particular evening and not because we lost to a non-SOC team. Waverly has to play in Division 2, but all of other teams could truly lose out to each other until 1 remains and hopefully plays deep into the tournament.

soc i was not competitive. jeeps too tough for local competition. other than that teams played somewhat evenly. soc ii hard fought battle. good to see competition. congrats to jeeps and tigers.
