Gallipolis still takes this game--even if Myers plays--it just will not be a blowout

Re: WEEK 8 - PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
The Trojans can win this game if (A) the defense plays the way they did vs. Wilmington, Warren, and Marietta, and (B) if the O-line can push the opposing D-line off the line of scrimmage........if they do that, no matter who the QB is, the Trojans can make plays on offense.
Consistency hasn't been the Trojans' virtue this season.......but it MUST be these last 3 weeks........consistently good football, that is.
Portsmouth has destiny in its own hands.......win out and the playoffs will happen.......but it starts next Friday with the Blue Devils.
GO TROJANS!!!

Myers is a big difference maker over his last 13 starts this team avg over 30 points a game. Without him as the QB our avg is around 14. If Myers plays the Trojans will keep their playoff hopes alive with a win. If not I don't like our chances against a very good Gallia team coming off a lose and playing at home. Week 2 of the playoffs for the Trojans as they must win out to get in. It's time to put 4 quarters together for the first time this year and get a big W. I would like to see Portsmouth win for the points but it's gonna be hard. West scrimmaged Gallia and they had some hosses up front. They'll give Portsmouth fits with their run game.

Gallia will come in ready to go. They had a tough loss to a good Ironton team and came into logan with a chip on their shoulder and took it to them. They had a horrible game against Chilli and they are not going to be happy campers when the Trojans come to town. They won't beat Portsmouth as bad as they did Logan but I don't think it will be very close.

OMG! Please stop whining! You make the rest of us devil fans look like whiners!
The refs from the Chillicothe game have nothing to do with this game!

Re: WEEK 8 - PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
Meyers is missed on BOTH sides of the ball.......the true key to this game is like most.......WIN the battle up front......we haven't done that on offense or defense very much this year......we are undersized on defense and are struggling.......WHY are we still playing a 4-4 after all these years?? I would think after seeing us get man handled up front game after game, we would switch to a 5-2 and rotate some of the big kids in there.....just a thought.
