Good job Hornets! After what I saw tonight at Chesapeake, CG should run the table.

Game was everything it should have been, except for the passing game, Coal Grove went one series(I believe it was one whole series) and did nothing but pass, as a long time Grove fan, it was weird.

and when they spread it out they went down and scored. the passing game only opens up the running game for cg more .throwing on first and second down just keeps the defenses honest. don't just wait til 3rd and long til u pass, the defenses expect it. i am glad to see coach lucas use this qb more throwing the ball. u have a weapon that can throw and run so why not use it. you will have to be diversified in the big games or you will not win by just runnning it up the middle. i say turn #4 loose coach.

Good to hear that River Valley is finally getting into the TVC. That's been a long time coming. It just makes a lot more sense than traveling to Lawrence county for every OVC game. I also agree that RV and South Gallia should play in all sports. If not for the rivalry they should do it for the gate alone. Gallia Academy and River Valley use to play in football once upon a time. They still play in just about every other sport. What's the big deal if River Valley and South Gallia play?
The OVC should look at Oak Hill as a replacement. Oak Hill playing football in the SOC 1 isn't going to do anything to prepare their team for the playoffs. Not to mention it would make the OVC a stronger conference, and they need a 6th team. On the other hand Oak Hill playing all their other sports in the SOC 2 is probably better for their team. Who knows, maybe the SOC will let Oak Hill and Northwest switch places for football. I doubt it though because Northwest is a pretty decent size division 4 team.

As weird as the passing game may seem to us Grovers, I think if we're gonna make a serious run in the region we've go to be able to throw it. Oak Hill and Valley - two Region 19 teams from adjacent counties - can both throw the ball well.

It's a rumor. It's a possibility. It's far from a done deal.
Save the "We will miss RV" crap. You won't.

Only because you will have to find someone else to talk trash about.

I love to watch the Grove pass!!I wish the Coaches would open up the passing game more as Alex can throw the ball and it keeps the defense guessing if your going to run or throw!! :122245
