Re: Columbus Bishop Hartley At Ironton Tank Stadium
^Alder has beaten 2 ranked teams the last 2 weeks on their home fields. Last night it was at Washington Courthouse 59-19. Two Alder touchdowns were called back because of penalties. Courthose was 6-0 before being manhandled by Alder. What ranked teams has Hartley beat?
Ironton wins this game.

i hope so bad breath , we gotta get back on track. it will help alot having wilks back. sorry you didn't get to see him in action. missed badly on offense and defense.curious to see where we stand in our region tomm. we are currently in first. curious where we end up.
Re: Columbus Bishop Hartley At Ironton Tank Stadium
Should be a great game. I know that Hartley has been looking forward to playing this game since it was announced last spring. Hartley looked strong against a 5-1 Thurgood Marshall team last night. Ironton will get Wilks back, while Hartley will get their top tackler back who has not played in 2 weeks back as well. Ironton has a huge size advantage in this one.

I like the sound of this since we have been the small team the past two weeks. Of course size isn't everything it is how you use it is what she said. LOLAHM wrote:Should be a great game. I didn't see the Jackson game unfortunately, but against Alder the game was won in the trenches as nearly every game is. If we can win up front against a smaller Hartley team then we will win the game. Of course, I haven't seen Hartley play so they may have a bunch of 225lb boys that can flat out run and bench press 600lbs, I don't know. But we are not small, so hopefully we can take advantage of our size.
I remember this one Tennis player from high school that likes to pretend that he would have started on the 89 State Title team. Now that is darn funny right there, because he would have had to beat out JD Coffman, JD Cyrus, or Chris Wright who were all BIG, FAST, MEAN, and GOOD. Of course everyone knows the wanna-be-football-TENNIS player is just an azzhat that likes to belittle kids.
We need our line to be BIG, FAST, MEAN, and GOOD this week and we will get a W and a home field in the playoffs.

the fighting tigers are plenty capable of playing full tilt 48 minutes. i hope they pull out the victory here. this game is on the eve of ole bait's 50th birthday. october 16th i hit the big 5-0. nothing would suit me better than seeing those fighting tigers get back on track in a big money game to columbus bishop hartley.GO TIGERS

Right. And CalPreps also predicts a 17 point win for Ironton over Jackson. Let me spell it out for you: What I am trying to say is dont put any confidence in CalPreps, Pastur, etc. It will be a heck of a game on the field.

Re: Bishop Hartley (6-1) At Ironton (5-2) At the Tank Stadiu
The Tigers are looking for revenge. We (Alder fans) saw a very good Ironton team 2 weeks ago. Remember folks, their great running back will be playing this week and he will definitely have a chip on his shoulder. Look out Hartley. I say this young man get's 100 plus yards this week. Ironton's line is bigger and if they sustain their blocks Hartley's in trouble. Go Ironton.
Re: Bishop Hartley (6-1) At Ironton (5-2) At the Tank Stadiu

Ironton has a huge size advantage. Hartley has one 330 pound and a 255 pound OL and no one else breaks over 230 on the whole team. We should hopefully be able to dominate the line and kick start the running game again.

The 330 lb. guy is not mobile. Ironton's line will dominate. Hartley's secondary will be in for a long night.

can we please play the game first, sportnut.
Re: Bishop Hartley (6-1) At Ironton (5-2) At the Tank Stadiu
Wow, no QB, no kicker, and no pass defense. Well, I'll give you one out of three, we can't kick it.sportnut wrote:Ironton has no quarterback, no field goal kicker and no pass defense. That spells another Ironton loss.
I thought Ashland was supposed to have a D1 passer? How did that work out for the Tomcats?
Better be careful, you may have to eat those words later. It's not like we have Tigers90 at QB or in the secondary, he was more of a TENNIS player. LOL
I have never seen Hartley, so I do not know what they have. Have you seen Ironton and if so, where? Just curious.
