I think I'm traveling to Alex to watch this game instead of following my Buckeyes... This should be a dandy and I'd rather watch a game with potential than watch NY thrash V.C. Save me a seat cuz, I'll be down as soon as I can... I think Alex can pull this one out if they play smart football... I'll take the home team.

Alexander has a definite advantage in coaching. The only question then is, does Athens have enough athletes to win? They did last year. Just have to wait and see this year. One thing not in question is, will this game help produce the Ohio division trophy? That thing has a reserved spot in Buchtel, and will reside there again this season.

Coaching advantage? How's that?

I love both Coach Arno & Coach Adams - and would absolutly not put one in front of the other - they both have done an outstanding job!!!

For those of us, who have lived in Athens County long enough, have to fully appreciate the level of football that Arno & Adams have their teams' playing at - not only with this years group - but their entire programs.

and that's a fact.

This is a game that both teams always get pumped up for. Unfortunately the bulldogs have have had their way with the Spartans as of lately, aside from a 2005 hail mary from the spartans. I would love to say the Spartans win, but I'm afraid I'm going to be one angry guy come Friday night. Not counting out the Spartans though. If Lawson runs the ball like he did last week they will have great shot. The line needs to pick it up, there are to many run throughs. Chapman needs to continue to improve.

With that being said GO SPARTANS!

im going with athens here, although i would LOVE to see alexander win this one, im afraid athens is going to pull away with this one. alexander just has to many players frrom last years team in the (backs and recievers) catagory, that pretty much held the team together (no offense alex) but in the '09 season, alex had a very strong running attack, and a pretty balanced passing attack. but they have to many players that were graduated, the #2 kid, and also meadows was graduated (as far as i know) and the word is that cody lawson broke his arm in the beginning of the season? im not sure of all this, but these are just my thought on the game guys good luck and an injury free game to both teams!

Good league matchup in this one. Athens has owned Alexander the last 2 years, but I think past history and W/L this year won't matter tomorrow night.

I pick Alexander to win at home. Good luck to both teams, and see you at the game.

It rained a little this morning, That equates into about 2 1/2 inches of rain on Alex's field. Could be tough for Athens :122245

If you think Cody Lawson is still hurt then you obviously didn't witness him last week. If Alexander is going to win the line needs to block a better d-line. Alex can handle Harris and it needs to be done if they want to win. It's easy to get pumped for this game so being flat isn't a problem.

GO SPARTANS!!!

Green Beagle, we've had the sprinklers on all night and will have them on until we see the Athens bus pull in. What a moron. Find something else to rag about.
