Re: tvc
Held at Athens again. Why I don't know or understand it has rotated Alpahbetically since I can remember and that was in the 80's. Who will win Athens. Why they have the best team. Some names to put out their are Stalder, Jackson, Lazear, Covington, Gerren and Sorrell Athens, Todd Packard, Wiggers, Lockhart and Postelwaite Belpre, Drew Webster and Deeter Trimble, Michael Little Meigs, Crock, Efaw and Miller Waterford, Mendenhall and Jeffers Alexander, Norman Wellston Tyler Mullins, and the Parkinson's Vinton County, Nelsonville-York Hook, Leitwein, Mclaughlin, Coon, Mays and Moody. Wahama Colton Neal, Crandle Neal, Kane Roush and Josh Haddox. Plus many more this is just a start of returners who had success last year.

Re: tvc
From Belpre watch for Todd Packard, Robbie Postalwait, Corey Law, and Phillip Wiggers who will be going for his 4th straight tvc championship? (I believe, correct me if i'm wrong.) May be a couple younger ones who turn out a good year as well. Nelsonville will simply be loaded this year and Athens should turn out a good year as well. Hope Belpre can have the depth this year and stay injury/illness free! Best of luck to the Eagles!

Nelsonville-York Hook, Leitwein, Mclaughlin, Coon, Mays and Moody That's a pretty good wrecking crew, TriC . What weights are you speculating these guys to be at? I saw where someone said Bobby may move up 2 weights...wow! Anyway, any hints as to where these guys are going to end up at for TVC's?
Re: tvc
Hints?? lol I think they will all be about the same weights. I don't see much changing from last year maybe up 1 weight class for each of them other than Mclaughlin, Coon and Hook staying the same. The nice thing is we have a couple real nice freshman coming up plus we have a few kids coming back out that did not wrestle last year as 8th graders. Mclaughlin and Hook wrestled a bunch this offseason and Leitwein and Coon also picked up some great matches at Disney Duals in Orlando. This should be a fun year with the addition of the new comers.

Ok, Tric118...lol...You guys should definitely have a fun year with the team you've built. Good luck and congratulations for seeing the fruits of your labor come to bear. Maybe hints wasn't exactly the word I should've used...just trying to speculate how some teams will match up this year and what particular weights will be "loaded". Again, good luck.Tric118 wrote:Hints?? lol I think they will all be about the same weights. Re: tvc
So all I've heard is Athens and ny?? Sounds to me like a two team race, how is the meet going to be setup this year?? And congratulations to ny on there impressive state Duals performance!!
Re: tvc
Both the high school and junior high meets will be at Vinton County High School on Sat., Feb. 12. For both meets, any weight class with 6 or less wrestlers will be round robin. Any weight classes with 7-10 wrestlers will be ran as 2 pools of 5. We now have 10 teams in the TVC with the addition of Wahama.

Re: tvc
i just saw wahama yesterday and they wont win the the tvc as a team but I do believe that they will have a couple champs. this kinda throws a wrench into it all because of where they were not there last year. just keep in mind when u make your individual predictions dont forget about them because they looked real good at there home meet yesterday.
