I've watched alot of football at FH. I have pretty much ignored this thread and some of the idiotic comments thus far but....
Before anyone attacks Coach Green, maybe they should walk a mile in his shoes. Most people would just stay at home and feel sad for themselves that they have been cursed with this illness. Coach Green on the other hand, just ignores the pain and problems associated with it and keeps going on. I have been around this district for 30+ years and I have never seen anyone with more compassion for the kids than Coach Green. This man is a class act and deserves better than this...

As for this year's team, here are some perhaps for you to consider...

"perhaps" the coaching staff is not as strong as it has been at times.
"perhaps" the talent is not as strong or deep as it has been some years.
"perhaps" there will be changes next year and it does no good to attack this years coaches/talent.
"perhaps" attacking coaches/players will discourage either from participating next year.
"perhaps" we should just play the hand we have been dealt and try to get better.

Regardless of which "perhaps" you think is correct, let's try to show the same amount of class in dealing with a bad situation as our head coach does everyday....

I am not attacking Coach Green as a person. I am simply complaining about the coaching. I have known the Green's all of my life...not Albert personally but, this is not an attack on him. It is opinion...whether you think it to be idiotic or not....I have mine, you have yours. So be it. This is a forum...you will have complaints, compliments, attacks, and who knows what else. Anyways, thank you for your views. It makes for an interesting forum to get all views.

G W, I have not seen a post yet that "attacks" coach Green. I do believe I myself posted earlier that coach is an inspiration, not only to the students but to the adults in the community as well. You are free to post anything you want to on this forum, as am I. As I have read through the posts, not only this week but last week as well, I have seen nothing that merits your name calling. I may not agree with your opinion but you are free to post it without me stooping to the level of a child and calling you or your opinions names. I have been watching and I knew the posts about the coaches were coming. It is obvious to everyone that follows the program. Again, good luck the rest of the way Lancers.

OK, I've stayed out of this mess as well, but I can't stay out any longer. Somebody help me out here, did my reading comprehension level drop to 2nd grade? I guess I must have missed where GW stooped to name calling, help me out with that one and specifically point it out. I don't see it.

I don't see where he called any specific prepster an idiot either. If you construed his post as implicating you and singling you out, well perhaps, you had some consternation about what you were saying as being stupid, over-the-edge, infantile, or just IDIOTIC!

Now, what is going to get accomplished by a couple of "grandmas" coming on here and beoching about the coaching staff? What is going to change this year? How is this going to improve the team performance by coming on here and expressing your grievances with the coaching staff?

It is called the Athletic Director, the Superintendent, and the School Board. Not SEOPREPS!!!!!!!!!!

This season is pretty much concluded. Nothing constructive is going to come from unhappy relatives coming on here and airing their beefs, nor will anything change.

You want to change something, go to the first school board meeting after the season has concluded and get on the agenda, and express your concerns. That is a causetive agent for change. Not SEOPREPS.

You may not like what I've said, but, doesn't matter to me. I'm a resident in the school district, and still love, and support the kids, and hope for a better tomorrow for all of them, whether it is academics (which is #1) or athletics. SD out on this mess..........

Dan, I have always enjoyed reading your posts. You always have some excellent insight for the fans of many different schools. It is obvious that you have watched a lot of games and are knowledgeable about several teams in the area. I enjoyed reading your post above even though you may not agree with my opinions. But once again, we are all free to express our opinions. I do not think any of the Fed Hock fans or parents were on SEOPREPS trying to use it as a "causetive agent for change". This is a place where fans can discuss their opinions with each other. I see many posts on here where someone questions a coach or a call. Some Federal Hocking fans are discussing their opinions on what they feel is wrong with the team that they follow or their sons play on. Once again, I like reading your posts and would enjoy catching a local game with you. I will support my son and the team through the rest of the season and will be back in the stands again next year doing the same.

Dad - No secret who I am. I've never hidden behind my moniker. Ask the AD or the game announcer, they will point me out to you, and I will certainly be happy to spend an evening with you watching the game.

Your last sentence says it all, and your heart is in the right place. You sound alot like me, when my son played.

My point was, and remains, this is not the place to express your concerns about the coaching staff. It is unproductive, and frankly, doesn't make the school, or the parents look good. Other ways, that are much more effective to tackle this issue, than on an internet forum.

I've been blogging a long time, really enjoy it, and try, for the absolute most part, to have a positive impact on other folks who read my whimsical musings.... :122245.

All my kids are through the school system, but I have a sentimental attachment to Fed Hock, and always will. Just trying to keep things positive, and help others understand that there are better ways to express their concerns, than on here.

all of your guys comments are interesting and there is not any reason to argue football is a game and to me life nut i dont argue with others yeah we were left in a pretty darn bad position when we lost two coaches and inneligability killed us but we made the best of it we made the best of it we didnt just say oh well guess we cant play football anymore. we shut and played football no questions il say it again we made the best of it thats all i have to say its just pretty hurtful getting the people you look up to bashed

Young man, that is why GW and I said what we said. We know that you kids are giving your best, and so is Coach Green. Please ignore the insensitive comments and just keep working hard, and go out and play the game. You have 40 opportunities on Friday night to play one of the best games ever, so play your hardest and enjoy each opportunity. Things will come into place. Don't be discouraged.
