Re: Ironton Fighting Tigers Host The Fairbanks Panthers
i see the fighting tigers have already mathmatically insured themselves of a playoff spot. with 2 games still to go.

Re: Ironton Fighting Tigers Host The Fairbanks Panthers
all i can say is you better hope a healthy tiger team does not get a rematch. the kind that opened their playbook open on hartley. that team, that play calling, possibly a very different outcome.
Re: Ironton Fighting Tigers Host The Fairbanks Panthers
I know I have read and probably missed this but is Lawless gone for the year. He adds alot to the defense. With he and Wilkes, the Jackson game would have been a couple scores different each way and definitely no ot.

Re: Ironton Fighting Tigers Host The Fairbanks Panthers
Lawless is back and played in the Bishop Hartley game, you are right with Him and Wilkes the Jackson game would of had a different outcome IMO also. I'm just glad He's back and doing well, from what I understand He'll have surgery after the season is over. H e has been outfitted with some device that allows Him to play and He hasn't missed a beat.JChipwood wrote:I know I have read and probably missed this but is Lawless gone for the year. He goes by the mathematical possibilities, not probabilities. I would agree that right now Ironton has an excellent chance of hosting a week 11 game.kantuckyII wrote:I would venture to guess that an Ironton victory Friday night will not only clinch a home game but a first place finish? I'm thinking Eitel is being kinda conservative and it should have read 'clinched a home game' on Ironton. Then again, Heath has two D3 teams on their schedule coming up but..their records aren't very good at all.

Well, all of us don't have a degree in math (or a degree period - check, 'some high school' ) and quite a few of us don't even have any hair or teeth but I think people have been sent to prison over greater of a chance of error than predicting Ironton has clinched that home game

Some of us Alder fans (except trip4....don't know who he is) are hoping you guys do get home field advantage and make a great run in the playoffs. Good luck this week.

We want them to advance.. we want them to WIN.. he!! we want to see them again..bad breath wrote:Some of us Alder fans (except trip4....don't know who he is) are hoping you guys do get home field advantage and make a great run in the playoffs. my comments to itown and company.. is they LOVE to toot there own horn. hey's here's directions, our field used have the TANKS playing here, we are this, we've done that. that's is all great, and history.. Been to Ironton aleast a hundred times, had lunch there plenty. and spent my $.99 on a Wendy's value meal more than once.. I've givin them plenty of props..and positive comments.. Hey Ironton is Ironton and everbody who knows anything about Ohio High School Football gives them respect. 2 State Titles and 6 runner-up.. Little ole johnyalderseed is just trying to get to that level, a few weeks ago Alder took a step in that direction with a quality win over a quality team on the road in their Stadium.
this a forum,, for some smack talk, and such.. everybody got such thick skin.... lighten up!!!
Now I am rooting for FAIRBANKS, quite the task for them.. Is that BETTER FAIRBANKS, wouldn't want to hurt feelings.
Does Fairbanks, have a chance.. Not likely but a what a experience for them.. GO PANTHERS!!!!
give me a F..............
