Yes it is on VSN. Should have the replay up within a half hour of the game ending.
what time is the replay going to start?
You can view all of our archived games here: http://www.valleyls.org/highschool/inde ... Itemid=111

On demand, you can fast forward, rewind etc. Posted it at 10:30.

About the game... Burg controlled the line of scrimmage, plain and simple. That 4th quarter drive was a killer.

They can say all they want about Hale at Oak Hill, but can Hale line up behind center and play QB if needed? I highly doubt it.

His performance tonight was one of the best I've ever seen by a Burg back and that is almost 35 years of watching Burg footbal. IMO, the best back Burg has ever had put on a uniform and there has been some good ones.

I think everyone in the stadium knew who was getting the ball and with the big O-line making holes for him, Valley couldn't stop him.

Great job Burg and now on to bring back the Gold trophy back to the Burg next week against West.

Valley has a very nice team and next weeks showdown with Minford should be a dandy. Good chance Burg could meet either one of them in the playoffs hopefully in Portsmouth. Man, would that stadium be packed.
You need to qualify your statement. "He is the best player in the area.... NOW... to qualify it even further, he is the best player in the area who is not injured. Lookin at it from a microscope.. "He is the best player in the area that does not have 8 pins in his leg, and two plates....." pay respects to "THE BEAST"

Yes indeed.....wake up senator fan. I have seen both play this year and shankweiler is/was the better back and is indeed the best back in the area. quite possibly the best in the district or this part of the state. there is no one in this area that is even close to him. and before you say anything i am NOT a wheelersburg fan so I am not wearing rose colored glasses. Best wishes to pendleton on his recovery.

Anyone know what Shank's all-purpose yards were for the Valley game from what I can gather it looks pretty close to 475 yards?

Stats on the game anyone?

Well, he didn't catch any passes, he let at least 2 kickoffs go out of bounds and Valley only kicked off 4 times, once to open the game and after the 3 TD's and Shears returned one of those so he only returned 1 KO. I'm not sure on his punt returns, but I doubt it was another 140 yards total to add to his 335 rushing. He may have had around 360 to 370 total all purpose yards.

How many turn overs did Valley have? Also I heard the QB for Burg hurt his arm in this game but it sounds like he did not need to throw the ball.

No he doesn't. His statement is 100% correct. Brandon Schankweiler is the best player in the area. To many people who have seen both Pendleton and Schank play over the course of the season have said the same thing and these are people that have no ties to either school. Show me another player from our area that can run the ball like he does from the TB position, line up behind center when needed and run the offense, play LB on defense, return KO's and punts, and catch the ball coming out of the backfield and do it all to prefection. Hell, I bet he even sells popcorn at halftime.

Pendleton is a geat back but what did he do against the Pirates last year. It was less than 50 yards if I recall correctly. He doesn't have near the speed that Brandon does and can he line up and play QB.

Schankweiler will be the PDT's Player Of The Year and the SOC's POY as well. Mark my words.

Pendleton may be the better college prospect, but Schankweiler is the better high school running back.*

Very valid point. I think this could be a huge factor in the outcome of the game.

Looks like Spamony was right on the money with his assessment. He got his yardage passing but I think they said he only had 32 yards rushing.

chicken_coop wrote:Last week the talk was that West BIG, STRONG line would dominate Valleys undersized line, and etc. Valley handled that just fine. Another week, and another set of doubters. Valley will continue to go out and play VERY hard, as the winner of this game earns at LEAST a share of the SOC2 championship.

Good Luck Indians, continue to silence the doubters!

I think the 394 yards rushing more than speaks for itself that the Burgs line is one of the more dominant of the area.

I will say this. I want to thank you and Jesco for being the only Valley fans to come on here after the loss and congratulate the Pirates on the victory. I haven't seen any other Valley fans on here since the loss. You two are definitely class acts.

Well, with these herniated discs I have....actually some pretty decent ones LOL. Burg deserves all the credit, sure the TO's didnt help, but no excuses. I'd like to see a rematch with those 2 teams. Appreciate that!
