Steelers vs. Dolphins
I think our biggest concern is Brandon Marshall. If the Steelers can shut him down who else does Miami have? I'm saying Pitt moves to 5-1 with a 24-10 victory. Your thoughts?
Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
I will take my Dolphins in a 21-14 game. Big Ben will know who Wake is when he leaves Miami.

Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
A big worry for the Steelers should be how to block Wake. He is fast and getting to the QB often. He will be hard to handle. Miami plays up and down this year. As for who else does Miami have at WR Bess is one very strong player. He runs great routes along with having strength. He played for June Jones at Hawaii. He is a very good player that most people have not heard of. Miami has played well over the past few years against some of the best teams. They may pull the upset if they do not turn the ball over a lot.

Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
one of the worst review/replay calls ever --the crew will be looking at fines from the NFL after this one settles. gave little ben a W instead of an L . a miami lineman falls on the fall, scrum ensues, same lineman comes out of the pile with the ball but NO CALL ON THE FIELD ???? horid. MD

Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
has anyone heard if the officials actually signaled whose ball it was ? I guess their mentality was " Ahh we will check replay "???? that is where replay has influenced how officials call games in a bad way --indecisiveness . MD
Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
NFL is getting like the WWE, they know who is going to win before the game.

Late-game call helps Steelers slip past Dolphins
MIAMI -- Officials overturned a Ben Roethlisberger touchdown and called it a fumble, but the Pittsburgh Steelers retained possession, then kicked the game-winning field goal on the next play Sunday to beat the Dolphins.
Jeff Reed made an 18-yard kick with 2:30 left, and the Steelers escaped with a 23-22 win.
One play earlier, with Pittsburgh trailing 20-19 and facing third-and-goal at the Miami 2, Roethlisberger fumbled the ball as he dived across the goal line on a quarterback draw. The play was ruled a touchdown as both teams scrambled for the loose ball in the end zone.
After a replay review, referee Gene Steratore announced that Roethlisberger had fumbled before scoring. But Steratore said his crew had no clear evidence as to which team recovered the ball, so the Steelers were awarded possession at the half-yard line, allowing Reed to kick the winner.
The Dolphins then lost the ball on downs, gaining just 4 yards in four plays.

Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
The officals should have treated it like a continuation and seen who came up with the ball. They didn't seem to worry about it. The offical on the side of the camera did raise his hands and blow the whistle for a TD but he couldn't even see where the ball was. Even on tv they didn't get around to showing who came up with the ball until right before the review was announced. The Steelers received a gift.
Re: Steelers vs. Dolphins
Wow they just said that the Ref and the offical who made the TD call live in Pittsburg. My opinion no offical should call a game in which his home town is playing. Just like they didn't allow David Boston's dad to call a game in which he was playing.

I just saw the same thing what a joke. I like how after the game the talking heads for the NFL tried to act like it wasn't a bad call, like we are not smart enough to figure it out on our own. I think all of us would be smart enough to figure out not to have refs do their home town team's game. Maybe this crew can just travel with the team and do all of their games.
