Jackson played their butts off last night klay has to be POY and drew certainly putting his name in for next year its awesome when your backfield has 2500 yds rushing then add kipps in there just WOW gallia had a heck of a team this year got to give them credit they played outstanding last night jackson line was just to much wearing them down like that. Congratulations to the Ironmen on their SEOAL championship and also to Gallia Academy for being probably the league's most improved team.

Don't plan a trip to Roger Bacon yet, they could jump Eaton if Western HIlls eins. Then the Ironmen have to go to Eaton

Some fairly obvious games must not have went Eaton's way and a game or two not expected must've went Bacon's way....Alter losing gave them 1/2 the magrin they needed...but one of the Eaton opponents they had beaten must've been upset for RB to be able to pass them.

x-factor nice post...Gallia had a few more plays that unfortunately called back due to our own mistakes and had the ball down around 20 a few other times and came away with nothing, again due to some mental errors etc. had a few of those things been different, who knows...
That being said, the overall size and play of the JI offensive and defensive line were amazing. I had the opportunity to see a few Jackson games on film and felt like our lines would nullify each other for the most part, giving JI the slight edge. I thought our x factor Golden finally up to 70% healthy would be the difference. I knew Austin would do his thing, and he did for the most part. What I didn't know is JI would come out and play perhaps their most dominate game in years and wear down a much smaller GA team. Arthur was a machine, wouldn't go down until the 4th or 5th player hit him. but the real x-factor was the play of Ervin. Reading keys on the dline and shooting the gaps when they presented themselves buried GAHS early and often. Not taking away anything from your 2 backs, but I would love to have seen what Wilson and Golden does behind your offensive line last night running against our defense...

Congrats to a great season.. both teams over achieved in many peoples eyes as this was Portsmouth and warren/logan's league to win.. most people had GA at the bottom of the league list Some people had Chilli near top because of Hinton moving in etc. but most had Jackson 4 or 5 and GAHS at bottom. Both staffs and players need to be commended for their efforts to make game 10 a much meaningful game and hopefully make many more mean something to decide league champs and have playoffs implications in future years

This is my first post on this sight, and most likely, my last... I just wanted to express the pride I have in being the parent of one of the GAHS Seniors. Though they may not have won the game last night, their dedication, humility, work ethic and class makes them winners in almost every heart in our little village. From the cheerleaders to the band and the G-Force student section, this group is truly unique. Their care and concern for one another is genuine and, together they make a fine TEAM. Congratulations to you on a fine season, and thank you for being you!
