I said some will be surprised, sorry for your poor educational skills thanks to the fine education at Wellston. Please next time try comprehending what you read :)

Ok I should have put Knippa on the list..... He had a lot of catches and I cant remember him getting beat all year a corner.

I just dont see how Rider got CO- D- POTY.
When I saw Athens Germano was more impressive!

Wow, Athens had the offensive and defensive player of the year and still finished 3rd? Must be coaching if they have all the studs!

What hurt Athens this year was the fact it took 5 games to get the O-line together.

Since LAST season ended, I have said several times that Athens will have a tough time replacing there line and that it would hurt them this year. Several Athens posters said that the line would be just fine. And if they would have added (After 5 weeks they would have been right.) Athens should be a little better next year, but NY will have a bunch of 3 year starters, Wellston will be improved, Meigs will be improved..The entire TVC-OHIO will see improvement next year.

The line played the same all year.. The change was Sharp in the backfield taking the snaps. Much more dangerous and mobile than the qb. Much better in the wildcat! Thats it in a nutshell.

Let's see what had happen in the NFL the last 3 years:

League MVP
2007 - Tom Brady - Colts won the Super Bowl
2008 - Peyton Manning - Giants won the Super Bowl
2009 - Peyton Manning - Saints won the Super Bowl

AP Offensive POY:
2007 - Tom Brady - Patriots
2008 - Drew Brees - Saints
2009 - Chris Johnson - Titans

AP Defensive POY
2007 - Bob Sanders - Colts
2008 - James Harrison - Steelers (Won Super Bowl XLIII)
2009 - Charles Woodson - Packers

Apparently there isn't a great correlation between winning the championship and being the OPOY or DPOY!

Congratulations to all the young men who made the all-league TVC teams.

I don't like Justin Cunningham :( he was always mean to me on the bus in 4th grade. looks like his meanness may have transferred onto the field! congrats for the co DPOY!
