Don't think we'll have to worry about the pass that much this game, Coshocton isn't really a pass team. Going to be a slug fest in the trenches.

Of course playing Alexander would be the ez game, but who wants that!?!?!
Tigers need to start tough & keep tough! Coshocton lost some skilled line play & 2 good backs!
IMHO OPINION, Tigers should control this team! Even though we took out Hartley, I still think it would be tougher to beat them twice! I also think that Amanda is undersestimated! HEATH had a bunch back! Although we play one game @ a time, I think that Hartley, Heath, & Amanda, are the ones to watch out for!
In the big picture of things: it's good that PC JON ALDER, CLINTON MASSIE, & KENTON WILL HAVE TO BEAT EACH OTHER! MASSIE IS INCREDIBLE! KENTON HAS THE SHOTGUN HAPPY MAUK JR @ qb!!! Hopefully, the winner of region 15 doesn't face PCJA REGIONAL CHAMP!!! If another team can eliminate the winner of that region & tigers keep advancing, I think they will "RUN" as far as possible!!! I really dissected all 32 teams, stats, size, common opponents, over the past few days, & that's how I see division 4 & all the " what iffffffs"!!

On the bright side, Coshocton didn't beat a single team with a winning record. They only played two teams with winning records and lost to both of them.

You sure did and the Redskins defeated the Tigers 20-14 in overtime......West_Sider wrote:Didnt I watch this game in Nelsonville last year?
The overall series is tied 3-3:
Ironton over the Redskins in 1986.......1987........2000
Coshocton over the Tigers in 1957......1968........2009

I was one sad Hornet after that game. Hopefully the Tigers get revenge.

If you would be so kind and honor us with your presence Friday nite, I will buy your ticket and even let you set with me under the dome at the Tank.........best offer on the table for now.......
Re: D4 R15 #8 Coshocton @ #1 Ironton
This is NOT the same Coshocton team as last year I can assure you of that. They lost a ton of speed and athletes all over the field. That being said, they are still a tough bunch with good size on their lines. #33 is a verbal to Indiana, and is pretty much their do all guy on offense and defense. They do have a couple other backs that can hurt you. Ironton will not have to worry about the pass. QB is okay, but is capable of making mistakes. Ironton should win this one fairly easily if they take control early, but if they let them hang around for a while they could be in for a dogfight. Coshocton is used to winning, and will not be intimidated. I would say Ironton by 21.

Well, almost, and I greatly appreciate the offer but will regretfully have to decline as I will have fish to fry a little closer to home this week. Check your PMs.TigerTownTurkey wrote:

Hard to win at Ironton . With Lutz , Tradition and the atmosphere for opposing teams . Tigers win 30 to 17 . Goodluck from a Jackson Ironman fan!!

There could be a possible Ironton/Portsmouth West tilt in Round 2.
