Play well, Buckeyes!
The game will be very tough, but it is also winnable. Mistakes will happen, but be sure to not regret your level of confidence, your focus, or your effort.

2 things you can count on with Nelsonville-York football; They hit hard and they never ever ever get tired. We have a senior class who will play every down as if it were there last. This will be a hard fought low scoring game. in the end the Buckeye D will be to stingy for the Falcons.

DII, DIV and DVI are Friday and DI, DIII and DV are on Saturday. They switch every year.roundingthird wrote:This game is on Saturday not Friday?

As long as Butcher is able to play, Minford should be able to win this one.

yea, it was 26 derek arnold, he shred the gridiron, but graduated with me in 2010, dont really know why he didnt play any college ball......but to the other fact, fullback is just about as big as what derek was his senior year, not quite as quick but he has speed. tailback is fast, not as big but watch out for him in the open field, in the open field young gets deadly, up inside is not his strongest point but look for him to break 30+ runs not 3 and 5 yrds.OST wrote:I know who you're talking about. The kid was a work horse but, I think he graduated last year. I've heard that they have a huge fullback and runningback still and both are great ball players. I hope my falcons can get it done. It would be nice for Daniels to pick up his first playoff victory.tap in bogey wrote:Is that power running back still at Nelsonville that played against Piketon in 08 and 09? He was tough. Can't remember his name.

Re: D5 R19 #5 Nelsonville @ #4 Minford
I'm excited for this game. Looking at schedules and all (which may or may not mean much) these teams look pretty even. Both teams like to run the ball first and play good defense. I give the edge to Minford being a home playoff game. When the team gets rolling and the home crowd gets going they can be really hard to handle. It gets pretty loud down on that field. I've heard our coaches say more than once they can't hear their own headsets. Hope all the Nelsonville fans have a safe trip down tomorrow.

After seeing West score vs. Highlight I think NY wins... but Alexander looked a little lost to start the game tonight... hope the Buckeyes can get the monkey off their back! Go Bucks!
Re: D5 R19 #5 Nelsonville @ #4 Minford
Has Minford sent a message saying they arent going to show up for this contest? Are the Bucks fans so good they can will their team to victory? I SAY NO!!! GO MIGHTY MINFORD FALCONS!! HIT EM, HIT EM HARD
Re: D5 R19 #5 Nelsonville @ #4 Minford
I don't see any chest thumping, or denigrating comments towards the Falcons, just support for the local boys. I'm sure Minford is a great team, and it should be a great game tonight. Good luck Bucks! I sure hope Minford does send a message that they aren't going to show up... it'll keep me from freezing my butt off. :122245demaniac1 wrote:Has Minford sent a message saying they arent going to show up for this contest?
