D4 R15 #7 Alexander @ #2 Heath

I'm sorry I do support SEOhio athletics, but the way Alex got into the playoffs is questionable. They beat a bunch of bad schools who beat worse schools to get points and make it in. It's a good way to build your program and coach Arno has done a great job getting kids into the weightroom and helping them believe in themselves, but it doesn't seem right to backdoor into the playoffs and the performance tonight shows it. Even tho I am from SE Ohio I can't support that type of performance that makes the rest of SE Ohio look bad. Heath is a great team and I'll give them credit, but "come on man!"

Tough one for the Spartans, who got themselves in a hole early and couldn't get much going. Alex definitely did not play to their potential, but they did not quit. While this game was a poor showing for Alex, the game was all about Heath--impressive team speed, not a big team, but hard play and hustle. Can't say it enough: Heath is a speed team with quickness on the line and pursuit defense.

I pick Heath to win a few more in the playoffs.

Alexander Spartans: you'll hear all kind of chatter about this and that, your program, your coaches, your schedule, your fans. But keep in mind that the chatter comes from the people who aren't on the field with you. YOU have started a tradition and a football PROGRAM. Seniors, thanks for all your hard work and for helping Spartan football for the past 4 years and for years to come.

Attended the game and I saw an Alexander team that played til the final whistle. Heath jumped on the Spartans early and often. The kickoff stunned Alex from the start and it seemed like it took the rest of the quarter for the Spartans to get over that start. How many times to you see a player bobble a kickoff , recover it and take it to the house. The timing is thrown off by the bobble. I hope all Alexander fans that traveled to Heath made it home safely. Good luck in the future!!

Great Season Spartans!

Keep your head high, I didn’t get to make the game last night but from what I have heard you never gave up and I think it is great that you are starting to build a program. Two years in a row going to the playoffs that is something to talk about.
