ironton always starts slow, i think it's because of a single scrimmage. i'd like to see 2. but i knew you had a fine team.

I think Ridgewood will not get blown out and will be well coached! Should be a good game I could see either team winning!

Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
Wheelersburg Seniors - You've earned yourselves one last home game. You've got the 2010 SOC2 championship trophy waiting to be placed in the trophy case. Life is good. But what if someone told you that Region 19 was WIDE open and that there were no teams in the region that couldn't be beat, yourselves included. Just like the SOC, nobody's going to give it to you but you CAN take it. It'll take all 18 of you but you can do this. Together. Last game at Ed Miller boys, ever.
Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
I will be very surprised if Ridgewood gets blown out by 3 or more scores. They are a well coached team and are also used to winning. I believe the same predictions were made three years ago, and they turned out to be dead wrong. Their are only 9 seniors this year for Ridgewood, so the Burg does have the experience factor with 18 seniors. If Ridgewood wins it will be by 7 or less, if the Burg wins it will be by 10 or less. IMHO

I know its the last for the seniors but its not the last game at Ed Miller
Maybe this time schools might be coming to Ed Miller Stadium to play on so and so field.
A dedication, if you will. Yeah its not the old Ed, but it is still Ed.
He just found the fountain of youth!
Can't wait to see it.

Burg wins by 2 touchdowns just need to stop the quick sweepers and long passes
Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
Thats the thing about running teams isnt it! Run run run then hit the long pass, LOL. I hope Burg gets the act in gear early and often. Dont give the WOOD the chance to stay in the game. Be aggressive, alter tendencies, and take what they give u (6'6" receiver!) LOL

Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
Yea I can't understand y Burg don't use the big receiver more than they do I mean god the kid literally grabbed a underthrown ball over a defender against west what a play that was
Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
I just hope they can get a mismatch by moving him around during the play. I mean by motioning him. Let Shears see if the defender follows him. Maybe Shank can get to the area where Stegman left to get a reception. Will also tell if someone from Wood is spying Shank.

Yea they are crazy not to use him more often to hide the predictable run maybe play action passesdemaniac1 wrote:I just hope they can get a mismatch by moving him around during the play.

And I would love to see that from the fullhouse cause they have used stegman at TE sometimes. Fake em, then hit stegman down the middle on the fly
