UFC 123 will take place November 20 in Detroit, Michigan at the Palace of Auburn Hills

Main Card:

Phil Davis (7-0) vs Tim Boetsch (12-3)
George Sotiropoulos (13-2) vs Joe Lauzon (19-5)

Prelim Predictions:
Kelly 1st Round TKO. Kelly is better than probably everyone of this season of TUF, and O'Brien didnt make it 15 seconds in the 1st episode
Griffin Decision. Hopefully Griffin can get back on track
Barboza 1st Rnd TKO. If Barboza is half as good as some of his comparisons he will steam roll Lullo in less than a minute, if he is as good (being compared to Jose Aldo) it'll be less than 30.
Hallman 2nd Round Sub. Karo has a lot to prove before I can put faith in him

SpikeTV:
Munoz 2nd Round KO. Two really good wrestlers but I think Munoz is further along and trains in a better camp
Foster 1st Round TKO. As long as this fights on the feet Foster will get the better of the exchanges

Main:
George Sot Decision. Should be an entertaining ground battle
Davis 3rd Rnd Sub. Boetsch's in your face striking style plays into Davis's style perfect and should guide him to an easy victory
Harris 2nd Rnd TKO. Harris has quietly become a very good fighter
Penn 2nd Rnd Sub. Penn has beaten up Hughes in both of their fights before gassing in their 2nd fight, and I feel BJ will be motivated by the trilogy fight
Machida decision. Machida will stick and move and frustrate Rampage for 3 rounds.

Fight of the Night:Sot/Lauzon
KO of the Night: Munoz
Sub of the Night: Penn

Rampage. I think he will time Machida up and get a 3rd TKO.
Penn. I just don't see him losing 3 in a row.

Trying to go to the event, but can't find anyone interested in going up. Wanting to get there Friday and win/receive tickets from the UFC in their twitter giveaways or when they just hand them out. Judging by the prices and the event being in Detroit I'd imagine there'll be quite a few tickets available, and if not I'd be fine with watching a sports bar on the drive back home somewhere. But getting there Friday for weigh-ins and subsequent meeting fighters around town or towards their hotel (don't like waiting in the lobby but if I see them on the street I may say something) and meet and a few. But alas, people around here don't see to want to go up for one night for what is a fantastic card.

Prelim Results:
Lentz Split Decision
Kelly 2nd Rnd TKO
Barboza 3nd Rnd TKO. Lullo can take an extreme amount of punishment
Hallman 1st Rnd TKO

SpikeTV:
Munoz unanimous decision
Foster 2nd Rnd Sub

Main:
George Sot 2nd rnd sub. I was surprised how tired Lauzon got
Davis 2nd Rnd sub. Continued improvement by Mr. Wonderful
Falcao Unanimous Decision. Falcao sure as hell didnt win many fans with his 3rd rnd performance
Penn 1st Rnd KO. Penn looked extremely aggresive and way to fast for Matt
Rampage Split Decision. Controversial but I guess what goes around comes around Machida. I did like the class Rampage showed wanting to have an immediate rematch.

KO of the Night: Penn
Sub of the Night: Davis
Fight of the Night: Sot/Lauzon

Another Note: Dana White said that he felt the Rampage won the 1st 2 Rounds so he sees no reason why a rematch is needed.

I think they got the decision correct. Machida can only run around and wait to counter for so long before everyone that has watched a mma fight knows his gameplan. Don't reward the less aggresive fighters.

not a good night of fights IMO. penn-hughes last 20 seconds. Machida ran like a frightened deer . Davis looked good but those pink tights got to go.

It's being reported that he had more anxiety attacks leading up to the fights. Which got him cut the 1st time around, hopefully he gets his head together.

The UFC also released Gerald Harris which makes NO sense what so ever. He is 3-1 in the UFC with 2 KO of the night bonuses. And at 31 he's right in the midst of his best years.
