Noreply, Yes an underclassman moved out of the school district, because of things that were happening in the program. She is a 6' eighth grader. Been playing travel ball since 3rd grade. Logan didnt need her.
Klaw- Since you were no where near Logan, I will fill you in on a little secret. The pain in the rear parent is not the one that was being bullied. The child was being bullied. Doesn't seem like they wanted the child very badly.
Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan girls travel to Jackson Saturday for both teams first league game. Jackson won easily over Wellston Thursday and Logan got their first win at Fairfield Union last week. Obviously it is important to get that first league win for these teams. Road wins are also big for the teams. Logan will be home for their next game with Gallia. Go Chiefs.
Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan sneaked out of Jackson tonight with a 44-42 win in the varsity game. It was a very competitive game. Logan trailed by as much as 7 points but stayed in the game and won on a three pointer at the buzzer. Glad the next game will be at Logan. Look out for the Ironladies.
The Logan reserves lost their game. Next up for Logan: Their first home game of the season against the Gallipolis girls.
Logan Lady Chiefs: JV and Varsity both win last night. JV 40-22 after being tied 11-11 at the half. Played best half this year. Hughes and Collins both back from injuries helped.
Logan Varsity trailed early 5-0 but came on to win 71-33. Good team effort. Next up for Logan, the girls travel to Bishop Watterson on the 14th.
Had an injured Gallipolis player in the JV game. Hope she is alright.
Logan Lady Chiefs: All the girls travel tommorrow (9-12) to Bishop Watterson for their 3rd away game of the season. Watterson varsity is currently undefeated and will be a real test for the girls. Actually a good game to prepare for the upcoming home game with Warren on Saturday the 18th. Following that the girls travel to Marietta on Wednesday the 22nd. Three really tough games . IMO. Good luck ladies.
Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan varsity win over Bishop-Watterson at their jym 37-33. A very scrappy game by both teams. Logan trailed at half 21-18 but scored the first 6 points of the third qtr. Leading by 2 with seconds left in the game Stephie Murphy calmly sank two free throws to ice the game. Cassady and Toph were both saddled with foul issues thru out the game and both fouled out in the 4th qtr. The rest of team picked it up and sealed the win. Most loose ball (scrums) foul calls went against Logan. Watterson shot 25 fouls to 6 for Logan. Whatever.
The Freshman and JV both lose close games,
Watterson varsity plays a good aggressive defense and their offense in well disciplined. They will do very well this year in their league.
