Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan wins but was not a game that the final score might indicate. Logan led by 8 at halftime and seemed in pretty good shape. Logan made 3 points in the 3rd qtr on free throws and trailed at the start of the 4th by 1. The MO seems to be that sometime during the game we lose "our game" and it coinsided with Warren making their run. The game was up for grabs in the 4th and you win at home. (or should) IMO you need to win all the games you are supposed to, win at home, win the close ones, survive on the road and you will be in the mix for league title. Sounds good, OK?
In any event the ladies are on the road at Marietta the 22nd in another big game prior to Christmas break and two non-league games to finish the year.

Jackson beats Athens tonight 56-25. Sets up the match-ups for this Wednesday with Warren at Jackson and Logan at Marietta. Something has to give. Warren and Jackson both have one league loss with Logan and Marietta undefeated.

Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan ladies make a clean sweep of the Marietta girls tonight winning the freshman, JV and Varsity games. Last league trip to Marietta for the Logan team and was nice to get these wins. Logan now on top of the league standings. Varsity score 53-44.

Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan ladies will complete the first half of the league with games at Portsmouth and home against Chillicothe. Marietta has two games left, home with Jackson and away at Warren. Jackson schedule is with Marietta at their place and then Chilli at home and Gallipolis away. Marietta has the tougher schedule and Logan the most favorable. With two losses Warren is looking to finish the first half strong. The first big game coming up will be Jackson/Marietta giving one of them their second loss. (12/29)

Logan Lady Chiefs: Reviewing the LDN sports page today and looking at the girls basketball overall records there is a common thread. Fairfield Union6-1, Watterson 6-1, Jackson 6-1, Marietta 6-1 all with one loss and all coming on their home court thanks to the Logan Lady Chiefs. Good job ladies.

Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan JV and Varsity win at Groveport. This is the Lady Chiefs 5th road game in their first 7games and will get a travel break with Athens at home the 30th then back on the road to Portsmouth for the first game of the new year. 5 of the next 6 games will be at home after our trip to the river..
The Groveport game was a tale of two halves. Logan trailed by one at the half. Groveport slid out of their game (or was pushed out) and Logan found theirs. Another nice road win. IMO Groveport can be a lot better than their record indicate.

Logan Lady Chiefs: Logan ladies return to play Thursday night at Jim's gym with Athens being the opponent. Athens is coming off wins against Gallia and Warren sporting a 5-2 record. Nice to have the ladies at home. Go Chiefs.
