Browns78,

I have sent a PM to a user on this site about the content they have posted less than 10 times, and I have been a moderator for more than a year now. The reason for doing that is to give them a warning instead of just banning them immediately. The only time that I ever edit or delete anyone's post is when it clearly violates the rules of the site, or if we get a complaint from another user that is offended by the post. Moderators don't want to have to edit or delete posts at all, but sometimes people can't obey the rules and something has to be done. If you or anyone else posts by the rules, your posts will be fine. I'm sorry if I somehow offended you in the past, but I'm just trying to do what I'm supposed to as a moderator for this site.

Hey I think it’s great the Oak Hill posters have justified their first loss with excuses because little ol’ Minford doesn’t even deserve to be on the same field same them. I mean heck they think if they had their players they would have beat Minford by 4 TDs or more.

Some of the same posters, that I thought were Nelsonville posters, that predicted a Nelsonville blowout at Minford turned out 110% wrong and now they claim to be Oak Hill posters. Oh, well keep posting it seems to be great luck for Minford. Please keep underestimating the Minford kids and think the only reason they are at this point in their season is do to luck and they have no pride in what they do.

 take the 2k and give it to your school for athletics or better yet academics.....

how does the host stadium benefit from the game, meaning tickets sold at gate, food sales, and parking ? just wondering

takes about 5000 to fill the stands at Jackson, not including the peeps who stand, so Im predicting since it is relatively close for both schools plus all the peeps that these schools beat looking to seek some form of gratification from the losing school, LOL we will see a monster crowd for this one!! Lookin forward to cheerin on our neighbors the Oaks on this one.

Minford has proved me wrong this year. I believe daniels and staff has done a great job with this team this year, I had them at 6-4 coming in (losing to valley and oak hill) and yes minford has had little luck on their side, but its better to be lucky than good and if they weren't good they wouldn't be 9-2. Looking at the big picture Its seems likely for oak hill to win, I mean they have sloan back, home field advantage (almost), and it is hard to beat a team twice in hs football. However, little scrappy minford dominated the oaks up front last game and that worries me for the oaks. I think game is a toss up. anything is possible and we could see one team win by 4 td's, but I don't see that likely

I believe the host stadium gets parking and concessions, but I don't think they get any of the gate money.

I thought it was more like 7500, with the home side about 5000 and the visitor side about 2500, but I may be pulling those numbers out of nowhere. Regardless i would love to fill the place up no matter who you are rooting for

Ummm no I am right here. The Packers are on!

I have sent 5 PMs to Oak Hill posters claiming they want "some action," starting at $5k with Minford +7 and gave them the contact number to put the cash in an escrow account. No one has responded.
I have no PM from you so who did you send it to?

You guys get on here and argue between each other, and thats all well and good, but just be sure you don't get the kids involved. they read this stuff to, and this game could turn out to be a disaster and nobody wants that. we want a good clean game, not a fight every other play. just let the best team win.

Is this the stadium where there is not a lot of parking on top of the hill? Will they be running a shuttle up to the stadium?

Looking forward to a good game on Saturday

Some people were PMing me about Jesses career numbers. Here ya go:
6,878 yards passing in career = 17th all time in the state of OH
71 Touchdown passes = 13th all time in the state of OH
30 touchdown passes in 1 season= 45th all time in state of OH

Needs 145 yards to take the 16th spot in passing yards in his carrer and he will pass Todd Boeckman, former Ohio State Buckeye QB, and 149 yards to take the 15th spot.

Wanted to put that up for the PMers asking his numbers. I think these numbers are great, especially when we have the running game with Mr. Hale as well! I know I am a very proud sister! Back to the OH vs Minford talk now.

GO OAKS GO!!!

Good post! I believe we as adults can say what we want to each other, but do not bring the kids into it.

Now that is impressive! Does he have offers yet?

We should make a deal....Minford lets him throw for 146 yards, move up in the ranks and all that, but Minford wins like....14-0? ;-)
Yeah I didnt think you would like that one......I am sure he wouldnt either. I am sure he wants to win the region.

This region could be a year of revenge if Oak Hill beats Minford, Burg beats Fredericktown and Burg beats the Oaks.....OR......
Minford beats the Oaks, Burg beats the Freddies and Minford revenges their earlier loss to Burg....

Kinda neat anyway.

For those wondering about the seating capacity at Alumni Stadium:

The school website says that the home side seats 3,750, the visitor's side seats 2,000, and there are also 300 seats in the north end zone for the band. That would bring the total to 6,050. However, I have been told that those numbers aren't completely accurate, and the actual capacity is just over 7,000. Either way, I think there will be plenty of room for everyone, and there's adequate standing room in the south end zone as well. Hopefully the Oak Hill fans, Minford fans, and fans from around the area will have Alumni Stadium completely packed. Should be a great atmosphere for a HUGE football game.
