Monster Buck

Post by OZZIEOHIO »

My Brother hit a monster about 2 hours before dark he says it bigger than his one from last year and it scored 197 and a half with 28 points. Battries were dead on the flashlight so hes going back in the morning to track it.

Rain is moving in tonight. If he thinks it was a good hit, he should go look NOW. Once the rain moves in, forget it.

I never like to push a deer, but when it comes to rain moving in, there is really no other choice.

He was sitting on the ground and it was coming strait at him he shot it in the chest at 20 yards. Lots of blood but the deer went over a half mile away already. He waited 30 mins before looking bacuse he knew it was going to rain tonight and he thought it wasnt going far. It got dark and his battres wernt bright enough to keep looking.

I agree, I'd be back out looking tonight with the rain coming.

Hopefully they found the deer! That would be a terrible waste.
