I would like to get parents that support the programs and push their kids to stay involved and better themselves. Not quit everytime something does not go their way or blame the coaches. I am totally amazed at how parents let kids quit and then blame the coaches or just don't care.

NYF wrote:Haven't seen any postings at the school. Rumor or not, as far as I know he's the coach and will remain the coach. You can't argue with what the coaching staff has done over the last 7 or 8 years since Boston has been there. TVC champs 7 of 8 years (8 yrs if you don't count the forfiet) and a few state playoffs. Regardless of the staff he has had, he has won.
So 70-80, not sure if you got boys on the team or what your issues are with them, but I would say things look pretty good for the Buckeyes regardless of who's coaching them.
I totally agree, Dave has done a very good job. Most area programs would like to have the his record and as a former parent of a player many years ago, all current parents should keep there noses out of the program and let the coaching staff take care of coaching the game of football! Butt out!

I hope the Bucks have a great season next year, no matter who is the coach.

NY goes 10-0 in 2011.
Beating the Dawg's again for the league title.
Finally beating teams with winning records that are not in the TVC and or in Athens County.

Bighitsinc. I am not going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe 10 more years. I would like to think the admin does a great job of backing the sports programs. Look at the facilities we have. I feel like we at N-Y have some great athletes that do not work to their potential or quit due to hard work or the coach's pushing them to be their best. We have great facilities and coach's who want these kids to be the best. I think we could be a top notch program in all sports in southeast ohio if mom and dad would also chip in and help out. I have about 6 kids who their parents go above and beyond expecting there athlete to show up for practice and look at where those kids are at. Not trying to knock anybody but we have great kids who just need to be pushed a little harder and the parents can help with that. too much comes back to the coach's. Rather than 5 going above and beyond I would love to see 10. I know the football staff would always be their as well as the Baskeball and Wrestling just ask the coach's what you can do to help your athlete. We have a great booster progam and the kids get the best athletic gear out their. I hope the best for the football program as well as all sports at N-Y.

I recommend PALADIN as the next head coach of your Nelsonville-York Football Buckeyes!
