Fort Frye played tonight beat Marietta by about 9 or so.Lost to John Glenn close I think JG won 2 of 3.Both teams were bigger then Fort Frye.Fort Frye played sloppy and turned it over to much.They are once again going to live by 3.They have a lot of good shooters and good guard play.Like to see Garrett Legrean get more agressive.Fort Frye played without Sr Eddie Watson who should be back by this game.

Not sure how good Belpre is, but i'd imagine they've been better than Caldwell the past couple years. Good to see this team and program improving.

Belpre has had a lot of talent over the years and always seems to not live up to it.Maybe this is the year they play as a team with not a lot of expections.About the game since its ikn Beverly I look for the many perimeter players for FF to go off in this one Hilverding,Smith,Schewendmen,Eddy,Eddie Watson,and Chandler Lang.

Great post EasternDspy, I agree, all Belpre has done is go to the STATE TOURNAMENT 3 times in the last 19 years! Being from eastern, you are the last person who should be talking about not getting the most out of your teams talent.

Belpre looked to be putting the pieces together @ Caldwell last Fri night. With a scrimmage Tues night, the preview Fri night and @ Alex on Sat these players will be ready to play hard. Belpre will be very athletic and won't be worried about "I" but working for "WE".

The Eagles have not won in Beverly in ages and I am just not sure this Belpre team is the one that can do it.

I respect Belpre but it will be a 20 point loss. What is the projected lineups for both teams?

Belpre has some nice players. The point guard is solid. I never put much stock in scrimmages, most teams don't do a whole lot of stuff you probably will see during the season. You probably see most vanilla half court man defense, teams tend to work on the basic stuff the most during the pre-season.

Fort Frye is pretty deep but it looks the lineup will look like this. G Shon Smith SO Kid has a lot of upside and started as a freshman.G Donald Hilverding the kid doesn't play much D but is a great shooter and has played Varsity for 3 yrs.Garrett Legrean F 6-4 Sr another kid that is a 3 year varsity player.Is long and will need to rebound the ball.Zach Eddy Jr F this could be the susprise of the group.He is an excellent outside shooter.Eddie Watson F-G Sr could be the teams best player but might not start right away because of a shoulder injury.Kyle Schwendeman G Jr talk about talent this kid has it all.He is kinda shy and needs to pull the trigger.Bench-Kyle Brooker Sr ,Colten Skinner Sr,Matt Klinger Sr,and Chandler Lang FR

The Cadets will once again be overhyped. They have what it takes to win a weak basketball conference and they should beat Belpre as they rarely lose away from Beverly.

Yea they play a terrible schedule and will be favored in every game but Warren.If they dontt make 3s they will lose.I doubt they can get to the hole.14-6 probably
