I can't believe that Tyler Watkins and RaShawn Miller from Belpre didn't make the All Hocking team. Despite their losing record they both performed well at their positions,Tyler on defense at linebacker and RaShawn at TE and Receiver.RaShawn was 2nd in receptions with 23 catches in league games 27 overall.Once again Congratulations to all those that made the team, they are all deserving.

When the coach only gets 2 slots it is hard to pick sometimes.

I didn't know they were limited to only two slots,I guess the should have won a few more games,if that's what determines how many slots they get.Orange and Brown wrote:Eaglepapaw wrote:I can't believe that Tyler Watkins and RaShawn Miller from Belpre didn't make the All Hocking team. with now the league having 33 kids that are all league, I would like to see a vote for a true 1st team, 11 on offense and 11 on defense. Heck they have 33 now so why not do a second team also and make it 44 total.
just a thought. also there are 9 running backs and 5 quarterbacks on the all league, with a 1st and 2nd team setup that would cut that number to 2 and 2, that could be an interesting vote.

I agree Old Bird,I think they should do it by position with 1st and 2nd team by position. This way you get very few offensive lineman, defensive lineman,Tight Ends etc.Shouldn't have 9 running backs and 5 quarterbacks.1st and 2nd team by position would be a lot better.old bird wrote:with now the league having 33 kids that are all league, I would like to see a vote for a true 1st team, 11 on offense and 11 on defense. Re: ALL-TVC HOCKING 2010
Congrats to Eric and Ethan for being selected all TVC, I'm looking for them to be as successful in the upcoming basketball and wrestling season. It's unfortunate that Belpre wasn't allowed more selections, as there were others that deserved consideration. But they will all get their chances in the upcoming Basketball, wrestling, and baseball season.
Go Eagles.

I agree with this, which would also get rid of some to the politics involved in the votes.old bird wrote:with now the league having 33 kids that are all league, I would like to see a vote for a true 1st team, 11 on offense and 11 on defense.
