There has got to be a better place to play this game. Ironton is the #1 seed and if either team should get the benefit of playing closer to home it should be the Fighting Tigers. How about let's do this in Jackson or Athens?!

Logan is an outstanding facility and will be a great host if that's where this game is played. If it does end up in Logan, though, it tells me that OU didn't really want to host a game. It also tells me that the OHSAA pays no attention to actual travel time, rather than just mileage. It's a much easier drive for Hartley to Logan, than it is for Ironton, in my opinion. It's nearly 2 hours from Ironton to Logan, but less than an hour from Hartley to Logan. If the game was in Jackson, the drive time would be in favor of Ironton, but it's honestly only an advantage of 20-30 mins, rather than over an hour.

agree 100% but it aint gonna happen.....just happy to be playing but dont expect any favors when giving Ironton the benefit of a doubt.....

It's at Logan. Ironton fans have every reason to be upset about this selection! Less than an hour travel on 4 lane roads for Hartley, while the #1 seed has to drive over 2 hours on 2 lane roads for over an hour. Then the home team #1 seed gets to dress in the girl's soccer lockerroom and not the home lockerroom. Pi$$ poor job by the OHSAA on this site! The only good thing is that Ironton has the opportunity to win more games on Logan's field than they did this year.

Quit B*tching about where your playing. At least your still playing. I know that the OHSAA is out to stick it Ironton. They wake up every day wondering how they can make you guys miserable but gee whiz, If it's not the drive, it's the seating, if it' not the seating it's the bathrooms, if it's not the beathrooms it's something else.

How abouty we hold all playoff games in Ohio in Ironton

Our boys would dress on a bus and play in a parking lot if they could play in a reginal final.
