#2 BRIDGEPORT vs #1 SHADYSIDE at st.clairsville stadium

These 2 teams played 3 weeks ago with BRIDGEPORT coming out on top 21-14. Whats everyones thoughts on round 2 between these 2 teams?

If the Tigers scouts took good notes and their defense does not fall a sleep I look for the Tigers to take this one by 14-21 points.


With that being said and making it clear I likeboth schools I will be rooting for B-Port in this one.

Don't think shadyside can beat them by 14+, however I have seen both play and I still think Shadyside is the better team. Now since price isn't at full strength it will be more evenly matched. Also shadyside is always well coached and I think coaching wins this one.

Y does everyone always say coaching will beat BRIDGEPORT? Everyone said it when we played WHEELING CENTRAL, WIERTON MADONNA, and SHADYSIDE in week nine , but yet they still haven't lost and peaple still say coaching will beat BRIDGEPORT.I understand its just what you think but come on think of something else 2 say besides coaching will win this game.

Just becouse price isn't at full strength does mean anything. shadyside wouldn't kick or punt 2 him in the first game and i dont think they will kick 2 him this time.

This will be one of the best games this weekend. Tough to beat a team twice in a season. I've been a Bulldog believer all season, but I'm afraid that the Tigers get revenge this week, in a really tight game.

Going to go with the Bulldogs in this one. I'd run those Smelley twins until they couldn't run anymore behind that big offensive line, then throw the occasional pass to Price. I know Shadyside won't punt/kick to him so I'd say a few end-arounds, etc. ought to open some holes.

A little worse than I thought.

I figured B-Port would struggle against the pass in this one and I knew they would have trouble stopping the run after watching them get ate up by a hurt Wilder last week.


Newark Catholic had a little luck throwing the ball with a QB who has struggled all season in a large part because of the things he had been asked to do.


Would be interesting to see the stats in this one.

The left side of SHADYSIDE's line controlled the hole game and there d played very very good tonight.

BRIDGEPORT was lucky if they got 150 yards and shadyside prob had over 300, 250 of that was prob on the ground.

It's now 28-6 Shadyside with 2 min. left in 3rd, Magnolia up 41-7.

Looks like Shadyside will get Delphos St. John and Magnolia goes to the ISLAND again, possibly vs. Bluefield.

Sweet. I'm not surprised that the Tigers will be playing DSJ. They do a great job of selective enrollment.......

And, hopefully, the Blue Eagles can finally beat Bluefield in the final.....
