I don't understand - remember, I'm just sitting at home listening and have no control over anything.
Neither link works for me - are these links wrong? Tell me where to go to find the play-by-play for all those outside the radio range of WIRO. I live here in Ironton so my radio reception is just fine!

Good game for the Devils. Closer than the score should be. Ironton had the great opening drive in the 2nd half and then Russell drove down the field. That QB in the 2nd ran wild. Over and over, the same play. Then the kickoff fumble, I know he's trying to get yardage but I wish the coaches would just stress FALL ON THE BALL!

I guess Ironton controlled the first half and then it was pretty much a stalemate in the 2nd half. Gotta play all 4 qtrs. and a win is a win. Close game wins during the regular season usually set up good playoff runs in the postseason. Congrats to the Tigers.

Nice win for Ironton. I didnt expect it to be this close, but a win is a win. And Ironton has a brutal schedule this year, I am sure this close win will help them down the road.

I would rather have close games early on than complete blowouts. It's hard to guage a team's conditioning if they are only playing a half...

That is correct and some of these teams that play weak teams with blowouts week after week pay for it come playoff time. I've seen it happen too many times over the years if the non-conference games are easy and you win the league handily. A lot of 10-0 and 9-1 teams have gone down hard in the first round over the years.

ironton looked good, Russell had a qb number 6 that didnt start last year. He was the difference maker. He kept the d off point. Russell shouldnt lose again in the regular season. Good win Ironton, these wins make a team better.
