Bridgeport beat a very mediocre (for their standards) 8-4 Newark Catholic team this past season in the second round 21-20 and NC had some players injured and their best offensive threat was hurt coming into the game. Then they got beat and shut out by Shadyside in the next round. I think Wahama could have beaten that 12-1 Bridgeport team but we'll never know will we. Did I think we (Wahama) would beat Wheeling Central Catholic, NO but at least we got to the championship game. That's hard to do in any sport, let alone to be able to win it all. To win any kind of championship the breaks have to go your way, you have to take advantage of every error the other team makes, play to the best of you ability and sometimes that's still not enough. Go White Falcons !

I said mediocre 8-4, for their standards. If Wahama had played the same Newark Catholic team you played (with injuries at the time) I think Wahama could have beat them. IMO if they (NC) were at full strength, no way Wahama beats them.

First time ive heard any of there players where hurt 4 the game but ok if you say so.Anyways from what ive heard wahama is loaded and they are the team 2 beat this year .who all do they have back.Also heard weirton madonna is on your schedule , that should be a good game they only lost 5 seniors from last years team.

They've got a lot coming back but rumor has it that the QB (who will be a junior next year) is talking about transferring to Point Pleasant. I hope not but you never know anymore.
