Re: Beasts of the Southeast
How do I sign up my County Championship AAU team up for this?? We want to play the Peake and teach them how to play with some intensity!
Re: Beasts of the Southeast
Coach Davis the site looks good - the info is there, good group of teams participating for this 2nd Annual event - looking forward to making the trip from the Land of the Purple here in Hocking Co. to the river AND the Land of the Peake again in January ...it's a well run, great event, great cause supporting Senior Hoops Scholarships being provided to your bb senior athletes who choose to attend college, purchasing of improvements needed in facilities/locker rooms, etc. ... the BoSE does a great job showcasing the excellence of the Chesapeake community and school community ... and I know that last season's 1st BoSE was in memory of "Joe" Smith as well - I also know that you folks will find a way to continue Mr. Joe Smith's memory each and every year of the event ...
... Coach Davis , pfloyd WILL be there in January; hoping to run into you, your players and the fine fans of CHS before that time ...

Coach Davis,
I understand that you are having a woman run this event. I also understand she has been giving you a lot of advice on basketball strategies and such this season. I applaud you for this. Most men are too proud and too close minded to accept advice about basketball from a woman. Glad to hear you are an exception to this. Kudos to you, Coach Davis.

The website is being updated daily. Please check it out. Could somebody make this a sticky so it stays in sight?

Re: Beasts of the Southeast
What exactly does ttt mean? Is that just something to keep the post going? I have seen it several times over the past couple years and never felt like like making a fool of myself by asking until now.
Re: Beasts of the Southeast
... not a foolish question at all ovc fan - ttt means "to the top" and yes it is just a way to push the thread back to the top of the first page again ... just like by me answering your question pushes this topic right back to the top of the page ...

Re: Beasts of the Southeast
Thanks for clearing that up...I saw it was dropping pretty far down or I wouldnt have asked haha.
Re: Beasts of the Southeast
... I've been keeping an eye on it as well ... want to make sure it stays nears the top and definitely ON the 1st page ... great cause that it supports - the KIDS that have given so much of their time for so many years of the 'Peake Hoops Program ...

Re: Beasts of the Southeast
Every game so far looks like a great matchup! Peake had their first game tonight and the defense was unlike anything I have seen in the past few years. All these games should be great and fun to watch. Dont forget to bring plenty of cash to buy some raffle tickets. There are tons of prizes. Too numerous to list. Starting with a big screen tv, a nice grill and several other gift cards and such. This truly is a great cause to help the outgoing seniors.
Re: Beasts of the Southeast
would love to take in a great day of basketball, great teams and some good matchups.Good luck with the event
