Help! I need a sports fundraiser that works...any ideas?

Post by coachstraps »

hey..can anyone recommend a good fundraiser? i'm looking for one that is quick and actually works. last season we sold mags and cookie dough. it was a pain in the neck and the players/parents hated doing it....probably because we didn't raise much either and it took more time than everyone thought. thanks for any ideas you can share.

Tis the season for a basketball tourney (biddy ball). Alot of work and lasts a week, but be rewarded at least 5,000.00 dollars.

Get addresses from the kids and send out letters. You'd be surprised what you actually get back.

Do a pancake breakfast or a spagetti dinner the pancake breakfast at Applebees and Max & Ermas are easy and make money just by selling the tickets regardless of if anyone shows

We did one with Bob Evans. Handed out tickets and a proceed of the bill went to the team. This lasted for 2 hours or more during a busy afternoon. The manager on duty donated a portion of everyones bill, regardless if they had a ticket or not. :122246
