Having saw almost every team in the T.V.C. play, i hate to admit that this is the weekest i have ever seen this league from top to bottom both divisions. I doubt we see any district champs this year. Next year the league will be much stronger and deeper.

Eastern beating Manchester at the Convo last week gives hope for a possible D-IV District champ.
Waterford has been very strong thus far & could have a chance.
All the D-III TVC teams are matched up in one sectional & if a team gets hot and goes on a run - they have a chance at the Convo.

But your probably on to something G.W.A - lets just a hope a few teams turn it up a notch or two and finish strong heading into tourney play.

I think the Hocking is pretty strong from top to bottom. There is a lot of balance so most of the games are going to be close hard fought games.I think the Hocking teams will get better come tournament time from battling each other most games. We never had a district champ last year, but one thing about the Hocking they always seem to have a couple teams at the Convo. The Ohio has also been represented well over the years. After three or four games it is way to early to go counting the TVC out.

I think Trimble, Waterford and Eastern all three have a legit shot to make it the the Convo in D4.

I agree GWA....TVC2010/2011=boring
Nothing special has caught my eye....Are there any legit college recruits playing in either division?....from what Ive seen so far(mostly ohio) its just average basketball at best...

Nelsonville-York (4-3, 1-0) extended it's winning streak to 4 games after beating Fisher Catholic 55-51 in Ben Wagner Gymnasium.
The bucks were lead by Kyle Moore with 22 points and Casey "Iceman" Cox with 12 points.
