Fort Frye is the elite in the area.They dident even press much they did get many steals in the halfcourt offense.Brooke Borich freshman might be the leagues best defender.Lacey Huck has improved so much and has even picked and outside shot.9 deeper and even deeper with the JV.Fort Frye lead Jv 33-0 with 2 mins left in the jv game.FF JV has won 20 in a row after going 18-0 last year.FF JV might be able to finish 3rd and win 12 games if they played a varsity schedule.

The two teams they beat will not win many games this year. "Elite in area??" maybe ahead of yourself. Some pretty good teams around, would like to see them play Maysville or Sheridan instead of Morgan then we get a better read. On the other side of the river you have St. Marys and Williamstown and of course PHS and South are always pretty good.

For a DIII team Fort Frye is very good. Maysville and Sheridan are both DII, PHS and South are DI. Takes nothing away from them but Fort Frye is probably a top 3 school in Southeastern and Eastern Ohio in their size.

Garaway beat Indian Valley 50-15 so they are probably pretty good in the Eastern District.Fort Frye is going to win a lot games and be the top seed in the sectional.A lot of girls on the team that want to be good.By area I meant like the PVC and Marietta times area.I would love to see these girls play upper comp like Waterford does.

I'm sure you'll see some powerhouses on the schedule in coming years. In the meantime, his group of girls were the core of a team that won the OVAC last year, which takes in a large area of Eastern Ohio, and had a pretty fair tourney run. EDspy's bravado isn't based on Belpre or Morgan County basketball.

I was at the game, and Fort Frye is the best girls team in the area besides maybe St. Mary's, who has a girl already signed to go play at Youngstown State. Fort Frye WILL beat Waterford this year, maybe twice.
