The 16th annual Alexander Hoops Invitaional sponsored by Holzer Clinic will be held December 11, 2010 at the Convocation Center. PreSale tickets can be purchased at the participating schools for $5. They should be available later this week.Tickets at the door are $7 and are good for all 8 games. Below is the event schedule:

9:00am Reedsville Eastern vs Oak Hill (Girls)
10:45am Nelsonville-York vs Huntington Ross
12:30pm Reedsville Eastern vs Manchester
2:15pm Alexander vs Pickerington Central (Girls)
4:00pm Alexander vs Zane Trace
5:45pm Blanchester vs Ironton
7:30pm Logan Elm vs Waverly
9:15pm Vinton County vs Dover

This plans to be an competitive day of high school basketball

Daniel Kline led Nelsonville-York with 15 points as the Buckeyes finally got into the win column with a 49-44 win over Huntington at the Convocation Center. Kyle Moore had a great game as well, going 5-11 from the field and adding 14 points. Huntington was led by the 13 points of Mike Smith. Nelsonville-York is 1-3. Here's the Hardwood Heroes Game Recap

Coaching is a huge key in close games like Eastern/Manchester. Dumb technical and not getting the ball to your best player more then 3 times in the 2nd half will do you in.
Very good game overall though, Eastern is fun to watch and Blevins is a smooth big man.

eastern won the game but didnt win the game the refs gave em the game....15 fouls on manchester to like 6 on eastern thats unheard of..poor reffing is wat it was nothing to do with coaching he got called for techincal for arguing over the right thing and he never got lippy with the ref..poor reffing is wat gave eastern the win
