I think a backlash at Hendrix would be a mistake, he'll peel your face off

Both teams athletic, with FH having a height advantage. It will probably come down to who plays under control. Of course as usual in the Hocking the officials could have a say in the outcome as well.

HAHAHA! coming from an Eastern fan that is really funny hahaha, Eastern must be the biggest homers in ohio
i think 2 of the refs mow howies grass and the 3rd is a relative lol

omg can you believe this

WOW Timmy! is all I can muster after a come back like that.

classof86 wrote:HAHHAAHAHA. Did you really just compare Easterns JV team last year to their Varsity team this year. That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard.
Quite often, kids that play JV go on to play varsity - seems pretty reasonable to me.

Go Lancers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do these fed posters not pay attention? Eastern's guards from JV will not see the floor. This game is a joke. Easterns guards are bigger, stronger, than the Federal team . Eastern's Hendrix, and Connery will give Fed 32 minutes of frustration. Game, Set, and Match

Foxworthy- For the record its Hendrix. I think Im seeing a threat on a basketball player you just made. Not cool. Hendrix is a tough player that doesnt cheap shot. He is an aggressive player period.

If you take my comments referring to Hendrix as a threat then you must validate that he has some kind of history or something. No threat here, just aware he gets after it and brings a high level of competitiveness and aggressive play. You can create whatever scenario you want. It that supposed to scare someone or cause other teams to back down?

Go Lancers. Bring it!

Foxworthy- Hendrix has no history. Just a good aggressive player. He is competitive but is a good kid. What are you talking about teams backing down? I would hope that they would all be just as competitive in a good sportsman-like manner. Good luck to ypou and your Lancers this year! Go Eagles!

Can't wait till Wahama takes the court this season. I look for the basketball championship to come just as easy as football, and as easy as baseball will. If you think our football coach was good, wait till you see how well our basketball team is coached. Gonna be a loooonnnnnggg year for the rest of the league unless you prize 2nd place.

When does Wahama play for the WV State Title in football?

Already did, and it won't be quite as easy as they think to win it in basketball

Why doesn't Wahama play anyone out of their class like every other program does in football? You maybe right about basketball, but they are not a basketball team like here in S.E. Ohio. Good Luck to ya though

Eastern by 16. Federal Hocking has no playmakers. Eastern stepped up the defense in the second half and Fed didnt know how to respond. Very good win for Eastern

86- You talk like it wasn't even a game. It was a 4 point game at halftime and it was around 8-10 at the end of 3. Some fouls late extended it to 16. And by no playmakers, you mean that they have a balanced team.

Hendrix played an excellent game tonight and deserves all the credit in the world. Without his play, I don't think Eastern would have won this game.

The Lancers were in the game for the majority of the way, and I think that for an EXTREMELY YOUNG team that they played very well. Going to Eastern for your first game of the year and your first road game of the year is something I wouldn't wish on the best of teams.

The Lancers are going to be fine this year, and I think Eastern will have their hands full when they play at Federal Hocking. Eastern is a very beatable team, and despite what class of 86 thinks, this game was a good game and I am proud of the way the Lancers played.

By saying federal hocking doesnt have any playmakers I mean that they dont have anyone to go to when they really need a basket. And when Easterns D stepped it up Federal Hocking pee'd down their leg.
