East Tartans Football 2011

How will the Tartans do next season. They return a lot of players from last year so they are probably looking to have a good season. Preparation in the offseason will determine if they can get back to the top after a two year absense.

Evry year you guys say Craiger is going to notre dame or Green. I dont think he is going anywhere.

I have only been on here since Oct. so curiosity gets the best of me.

I think a lot of the starters from last year were underclassmen so expect some goods things from this team. These kids are hard workers so I think they will be fine this coming season.

East returns alot of skill spots from last years team along with a second season under a Head coach will help the Tartans. I do not see Craiger leaving East, the talent is there they just need to get back to the weight room and return to the work ethic they had a couple years ago when they reached the playoffs.

The sucsess of the East football team will depend on a few things:
1. Being a very small school, injuries during the season will play a huge role. When you have one kid go down, you have to move 2-3 more to fill the spot for the one injured player.
2. Offseason participation in the weight room.
3. Returning players stepping up and playing key roles.
4. Younger players producing over the course of the season.
5. Numbers that take part in out of school workouts during the summer.

no im pretty sure staggs didnt transfer anywhere... but he needs to get in the weight room to get where he needs to be for next year... as for crager, why would he go to green? and i dont think he would transfer in the conference to win the same amount of games... from MY sources he really wants to win next year and will either go to valley for football or go to south webster to focus on basketball... kind of odd i know... but i think he will stay at home here at east, but who really knows

all this talk about who's leaving and staying is just a distraction. Whoever is there is there. Just like any other D6 school, they will make do with whoever comes out to play.

They have some talent and more seniors this year, but talent runs in cycles at small schools and it seems East is down...the Soc is pretty much wide open however, so if they get into the weight room they could have a shot, but I think they'll win 3-5, jmo
