Notre Dame has been playing some good basketball. They recently gave the Mohawks all that they wanted. BUT,the game is at Symmes Valley. It takes a miracle to get a win in Willow Wood. The Vikings win by 5pts at home.

Congrats to the Vikings on their first win of the season. Several players made contributions to the win. Senior starters Craft, Stanley, and Taylor are showing some leadership. Freshman -Miller is doing well directing the offense. Wilson is showing a lot of potential. Patterson, Lemaster, and Brown added depth from the bench. Keep up the good defense and continue to work together and you will have a good season.

Re: Notre Dame at Symmes Valley 12/10
Congrats to the Vikes...alot of hustle out of Miller not just tonight but every time he hits
the floor. Brown came off the bench and really showed he has what it takes...
Seen open guys down court and not willing to pass the ball... not aggressive enough rebounding..
Even had a technical foul on one of our players....not sure what he said but must have been
something the ref didnt like....
Look at the score......alot of girls games has these kind of scores.....alot of missed shots...
Need a few more boys to step up and play team ball and the Vikings just might stunn a few......
Not a bad start for the first SOC game.....its early yet....
Vikes Play Coal Grove at Home tonight
Jv starts at 6:00 pm
Good Luck Vikes......

Congrats to the Vikings on the win. I'll take them over CG tonight by double digits, as well. I might have to make it out to this one. Good luck to both teams.

1AM4OSU MUST NOT BE A FAN OF THE SV BOYS BASKETBALL PROGRAM. THE VIKES PLAYED TWO GOOD GAMES FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AND BEAT ND AND CG. I AGREE MILLER IS PLAYING REALLY WELL AND AS HE GAINS VARSITY EXPERIENCE WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE. BROWN IS ALSO MAKING A NICE CONTRIBUTION TO THE TEAM. ND WAS ONLY THE 2ND GAME, AND THE VIKINGS ARE STILL WORKING ON GELLING. SATURDAYS GAME WAS AN IMPROVEMENT IN SPOTTING AND HITTING THE OPEN MAN.
AS FAR AS REBOUNDING, THE VIKES HAD 50 REBOUNDS IN THOSE 2 GAMES ACCORDING TO THE IRONTON TRIBUNE (MUST BE SOMEWHAT AGGRESSIVE) THE PLAYER WITH THE TECHNICAL IS A CLASSY KID, DON'T BE TO QUICK TO JUDGE UNTIL YOU KNOW
THE TRUTH. STANLEY IS IMPROVING WITH EVERY GAME AND IS ASSISTING WITH REBOUNDING AND DOING WELL WITH BLOCKING SHOTS. WILSON IS NEW TO THE TEAM AND HAS POTENTIAL. SENIORS ARE ACCOUNTING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE OFFENSE, 31 POINTS FRIDAY AND 48 POINTS SATURDAY. GOOD JOB TO BROWN, CRAFT, LEMASTER, PATTERSON, STANLEY, TAYLOR - ALL SENIORS.
WHEN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PROGRAM, THE KIDS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO SUFFER. ALL VIKINGS SHOULD GET BEHIND THE PROGRAM AND SUPPORT THE PLAYERS.

Re: Notre Dame at Symmes Valley 12/10
Way to go fanofbball, finally someone on here supporting our kids...........All of the players whether it be basketball, football or baseball,,,,,go out and do their best on that given day.....no one plans to go out and have a bad night,,,but when they do, usually on here they are condemned for the week. Our kids are human, make mistakes, and try to pick up and move on. Way to go Vikings, you are playing team ball and for the one who says that there are open guys down the court,,,,,yes there probably is, but it is so much easier seeing that from the stands. People even see the calls in the stands that the refs miss,,,,,,it is easy for us to see it........we are not currently playing in the game......and if you have ever played basketball it is hard to see every thing when you are on the court.....the stands are angled so we see from above......so we see things that others can't see. If anyone knows these kids that are on the court, they mesh together, support eachother, even when one makes a mistake, and that is what makes a team.....when you are playing a decent team and you hold that team to 18 points in the 3rd quarter, you are doing something right........whether people want to admit it or not.........So keep up the good work Vikings,,,you are working hard and this is just the third game of the season......Some people need to go back to the saying, if you can't say anthing nice, then don't say anything at all......
