7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Tournament
February 12th- February 19th. Saturday-Saturday
$50.00 per team or $80.00 for 2 teams

7th Grade Teams:
Wellston, Portsmouth, Logan, Nelsonville, Chillicothe, Ironton, Athens, Vinton Co, South Gallia, Jackson

8th Grade Teams:
All above teams with the exception of Green. They will only play in the 8th grade division.
We will accept one more 8th grade team.
There will be 2 pools in each division....

I think Wellston fell into a sink hole caused by the old mines and water line breaks but we're trying to send a man in to gather info and see if anyone survived.......

I know Logan 7th beat chilli 7th by alot, Logan 8th beat Symmes valley by a lot. Chilli won over south gallia by forfeit, the chicken buts didnt show up. Ironton 8th was winning by a bunch over VC when I left shortly after halftime. Athens 8th, portsmouth 8th and jackson 8th all had first round byes.

There are 2 very good games on tap for this afternoon in the semi-finals. At Noon Ironton 8th (2 losses) takes on Athens 8th (3 losses). At 1:30 Chilli 8th vs Logan 8th. Both teams have 2 losses and split their regular season games. Chilli is 15-2, with the loss to Logan and a loss to washington court house. Chilli beat WCH in the second match up, snapping a 30 game winning streak for the Lions. Good luck.
