The Flyers tighten up their perimeter defense and everyone gets involved on offense. I'll take the Average Joes by double digits to move to 2-2 on the year.

Question: will this be at the same gym as Tuesday or a different one?

Fuzz, This game will be played at the Conley Center due to the auditorium being used that night.

What is the Conley Center? I've never heard of it.

It is where Ironton plays their boys and girls varsity and jv basketball at the corner of 7th and Ellison Avenue, right next to Tanks Memorial Stadium.

Thank you Xs and Os. I've never heard it called that before. Shows you how much I usually pay attention to area basketball! Lol

No surprises here. CG didn't have their best player tonight + they were totally outmanned. This is a very down year for CG hoops and it will be a very long one if the boys don't keep their chins up and stick together. The situation is worse than I thought. Not a lot to work with for Coach W this year.
Congrats to the Flyers on the win. Hopefully they got the taste of that Rock Hill game out of their mouths tonight.

I even had the opportunity to speak to the wonderful owner of the "Shirt Shop"........and spend the second half discussing the village of the Grove with Fuzzy......... :) :)

Good thing this one was in the Sports Center or what ever they call it, instead of that small gym........if you know what I mean. ;)
