The Redstreaks play 3 on the road this week starting tonight @ Paint Valley, tomorrow @ Columbus Mifflin, and Friday @ Adena....

Hopefully we make a clean sweep and we continue to get better. Coach Lisath has the boys focused and hungry. We remind the boys every day about the drumming we got from Chesapeake last tourney... So there will be no overlooking anyone. We know we're going to get everyone's best shot; what better way to prepare for a deep tourney run! Go Streaks!

The streaks should come out of this week unblemished. I will take Piketon by 25, 10, and 45 respectively.

North Adams coach Dave Young gets his 399th career win with a victory over Eastern Brown. He has a chance to hit 400 at home against a struggling Fairfield team on Friday...

Piketon wins at the Jigger 80-43 over Paint Valley. This game was tied at the half 25-25. Piketon forced around 16 turnovers in first half, but PV outrebounded Piketon something like 24 to 11. Piketon only shot 20 percent in the first half.

However, in the second half, Piketon went on an 8-0 run and never looked back. They forced another 12 turnovers, and outrebounded PV in the second half while shooting a blistering 68 percent from the field in the second half. They scored 55 points in the second half!

... jchitwood ... wow, wouldn't have "thunk" that one - North Adams over Eastern Brown HOWEVER in the EB win over Alexander to open the season Coach Beucler was concerned about his teams shooting/how they would handle the "ball NOT going down" (only 36 points in a winning cause vs Alexander) ... just 40 points in this loss vs Coach Young's North Adams boyz tonight - offense is still a concern for Eastern Brown ... congratulations to Coach Young in this battle of legendary coaches picking up win number 399 ... NA is 3 points away from being 3-0 instead of 2-1 ... big win for NA ...
